Who Builds the Walls

Revisted Blog Posting:

Walls are built to protect you from scary or dangerous things. Your protection seems like a really good idea because you might get hurt or killed by forces beyond your control and that would seriously jeopardize your life. But can protection from challenging things be a “good” thing, all the time? And, who builds the walls which protect you? What are these walls actually protecting?

This blog is inspired by guidance and a recent reading of chapter 12 of Michael Singer’s book, “Untethered Soul.” The chapter title is “Taking Down the Walls.” If you have not read Michael Singer’s first book, I recommend it for many reasons. Thanks again to my mentor and Michael Singer student, Paula Forget.

The point of putting up walls for protection can isolate you from “outside” influence and potential pain from the changes that interaction with the Divine Universe can provide. It is safer to be insulated in a world where you are comfortable because you think you know it from its familiarity. Because it has been this way for a while, perhaps a long time, it feels safer and must be protected at all cost. The “hoards” are coming at you from all directions and it feels “good (???),” to build that wall so you are locked in the prison of your own building. Wow, did I say “prison of your own building?” Our fragile self-image or our “dated” opinions have powerful history which can make these seem friendly and familiar but actually can hold us back and imprison us in self-limiting beliefs and attitudes.

Michael Singer’s definition of “Enlightenment” includes the recognition of these self-limiting, historically safe, beliefs and then the willingness to “let go” and to move through the painful challenges of non-judgement guiding you into equanimity with the dramas that may surround you. The “Enlightened” soul observes and does not get “triggered” by the experiences and insights which present themselves. The walls you build to protect your ego or self-image are actually YOUR barrier to awareness and your own accepting the state of “Enlightenment.”

This said, there are risks to breaking the barriers to your own “Enlightenment.” The risks include facing the challenges of changing your self-image, placing the Universal Divine ahead of your self protected ego, and expanding into the unconditional connectedness we have with all the energy of the Universe, and beyond. there is No need to guard “Self” and no need for walls as barriers. You can release your self-imprisoned definition of “self” which “protects” you from true “Joy” and your Divine purpose. Walls are used to protect YOUR Fears and are not really the long term solution. They protect you from the inevitable path you must follow, at some point in your developing consciousness, into the “Light” of Unconditional Love, Connection, and Universal Wisdom. These lead you to true Freedom and Joy!

And, what is the “worst” that can happen? You will transition from this incarnation sooner than your ego wants. The ego’s self-preservation builds judgements and walls which dissolve when you die. And, we all die. No way out. Death is NOT the enemy except for the ego… Your Joy is based on the willingness to not take your life too seriously so you have the freedom to really live, untethered…

Your path will lead you to this realization at some auspicious point in your developing consciousness. Ponder these words and thoughts. Do your own research. Find your own awareness of your self-constructed walls and the process you will use to “let go!” No matter where your search leads you, YOU are not alone! You are greater and more powerful than your ego allows you to realize. You are a Miracle. You are a Blessing! And, whether you know this or not, YOU are a Master!

Struggling

We humans love a “good” struggle. Yes, even when these are painful. Even when we know we do not need to struggle. Example… we go out for a sport. We “play” a team sport. We connect with our teammates and we go into a competitive “game” and as a team we attempt to “win…” We may feel good if we “win.” We may feel sad or disappointed if we (as a team) lose the game. But, either way, we will usually come back for more…

We can “struggle” with living our lives AND we come back for more. Why? Because, we love the experience and the testing which come from our struggle. As humans, our lives are full of drama and struggles. We learn from these moments. We test our wisdom and learned skills in this test of living. Our minds and our egos want to win in our three dimensional world. At some point, when the “light goes on,” we will (or have already) awaken from our human struggle and realize that the “Truth” has always been within us and we do not “Need” to struggle. We can simply allow ourselves to “Know” the “Truth” which is true always.

Life is a Struggle when we are less than fully conscious and then see life as a struggle. We are also free to perceive life as a beautiful, perfect miracle. We have choice! We can view our human situation as a result of our actions (and, perhaps, our soul’s choice to fall into a certain human drama for some “higher purpose.”) You are free to disagree and to live your human life within a different frame of reference. How YOU choose is up to you and for the “lesson” or “challenge” you have come into this life to participate within.

Struggling is NOT a negative. It is not something to avoid. It is not the end game you will be defined by. Perhaps, you even enjoy the experience as a perfect opportunity to learn from and to develop your wisdom. No matter how you choose to perceive these words, YOU are Perfect! YOU are a Miracle. You have come to serve the souls you bump into in this human life. AND, we are All in this Together!

At some point, you may learn to “Let Go.” Accept and embrace the Divine Truth… You are a perfect manifestation of the Divine and you are perfect in the role you have come into this life to play out…

Love is At the Core

Love is at the core of our Divine Spirit. This message came to me from my Guidance as I considered my daily meditation practice. When I was first instructed on how to meditate in my early 20’s, I was asked to focus upon a “higher concept” or higher vibrational “feeling.” The feeling which Guidance gave to me was to focus upon the word (and concept) of Love. At the time, I did not consciously understand but it felt correct for me. So, I begin each meditation with Breathing in the Unconditional Love of the Divine, into my heart, and then exhaling this Unconditional Love out as a Gift to the Universe (and beyond into the higher realms.)

Let me be clear. This Unconditional Divine Love is not the same as human conditional, three dimensional, Love. For me, human Love is conditional and does not vibrate at the same high level of Divine Love. It can’t. It is locked into human mental, limiting perspective. When I was 19 years old, I was blessed to have an experience of visiting a half-way point to Death and, due to my naivety, I momentarily felt Divine Unconditional Love and Acceptance. At that moment, I did not fully appreciate this “gift.” Since then, I have discovered that not every human gets to consciously “know” this experience and feeling. Though, we all bask in this, whether we mentally appreciate it or not. In major ways this has altered my living of this life.

Getting back to today’s “message,” I felt once again that at the core of all life, both on Earth and in the Higher Realms, Love, Unconditional Love, is the vibration of the Divine Spirit which is central to all Divine Consciousness. I can not find words to fully explain this. I simply “KNOW” this is as Truth. In our Souls, below the mental defensiveness of “Ego,” is the resonance with Divine Love. It is what connects all of us. It is far beyond what our Human Minds can fully know due to the limitations we have in holding on to our 3 dimensional belief system. It is a “feeling” and not a thought. It is a “Knowing” and not learned concept…

When we pause, become quiet, and allow ourselves to be most “present” in a deeper moment, we find ourselves basking in the Light of Divine Love. You may not “see” it but your heart/soul can “feel” it. And, it is not easily understood so we might add labels to this that have roots in religion or philosophy which are constructed by the mind and not fully capable of higher dimensional “knowing.” This is confusing to consider (as a mental process.) But, engaging and freeing as a deeper feeling/knowing. And, remember, this goes further than human conditional love. It is not found in the movies or books or even in poetry. It is not between two people in “relationship.” It does exist as a spiritual bond with Everyone you experience, even when your human mental Judgement creates difficulty in know that we are all One and Connected. (This is my ongoing challenge as a lesson…)

YOU are Unconditionally Loved! YOU are a Miracle! YOU are Blessed!

Revisiting: Walking Your Sacred Path

We are born into our present incarnations to follow our sacred path moving ever closer to “Enlightenment.” Along the way we are challenged by interactions and experiences which are there to teach us lessons we require to move further along our path. Each of us is unique and must walk our sacred pilgrimage in our own way. Know you are NOT alone. You are a part of the Divine Spirit but your distinct path will guide you to special learnings designed to assist you and to share with other pilgrims you encounter. As we are “one,” we are here to take the hands of the fellow travelers to aid them in their distinctive sacred path.

When we feel lonely, we are caught in a trap of separation which our mind and our egos create. At times like these, we can attempt to remember that our role is to support other seekers and reach out to share our story. The perspective that you offer as you share your success or failure (and failure does not really exist) offers your witness a chance to learn from your travails. You are a Master. No one else can be who you are and perfect in your own way. Share your story AND be available to witness the telling of your communication partner’s story. You give a great gift by allowing them to give to you in sharing their wisdom…

If you can remain “present” and “mindful” with each step you take on your sacred journey, you will reach your most important learnings most quickly. This is easier said than done but avoiding the traps of dwelling in the past or feeling the fear and anxiety surrounding the unknown future, you will live and learn most gracefully. Detachment and less judgement will add to your mastery. Again, this important lesson is easier said than done…

A wise mentor has encouraged me to walk my sacred path from my heart and avoid the limitations created by my mind. For me, this means that I listen to my intuition and allow my guides to assist me to make course corrections along my sacred path. Guidance has been most helpful and supportive for me. I have learned to acknowledge and trust that small voice which I “know” creates the messages I feel in my soul/heart. Along the way, I must let go of the “toxic memories” from painful past experiences so I can move forward into new adventures. So, hear the “truth” with your heart not the altered thoughts and judgements from your mind! (You are NOT a victim. At some level you have been part of the “plan” which includes those difficult experiences, which we learn most from.)

Where ever possible, “be the voice of forgiveness.” Learn to say, “I forgive you AND I love YOU!” The world needs so much more of this consciousness and this will expedite your travels along your sacred path. You are a Blessing!

Music for the Soul

The things which sooth us, excite us, heal us, and challenge us are all unique to the person/soul we are. Each of us “marches to the beat of a different drummer.” Though these differences may be slight, none the less, these are different. You are unique as a human and as a soul/spirit. Some people go to a symphony to awaken their Spirit. Some of us go to the gun range for the focus and stimulation we all seem to need in our unique lives. Knowing your unique requirements and how to “appropriately,” find these is an essential step for our adventure through our human incarnations. Hopefully, we find ways to feel satisfaction without impinging on other people. (Sadly, Not always the case…)

What is the music for your soul? Is it loud or soft? Is it available or challenging to find? How much and how often do you require this to be healthy, or even to survive? For me, a walk in the woods is great music for my soul. I can also benefit from a walk on the beach or a hike in the mountains (or hills.) It benefits me greatly to be in the arms of the people I love. Some music sooth me. And, some music does not sooth me. When I find art or creativity to admire, my focused attention can bring joy to my heart. There are times when reading can be stimulating and sometimes healing. Conversation with non-hostile people is a wonderful experience in sharing for me, with or without common interest. Just watching and listening to someone share their deep passion is a blessing for me when I want to interact. Quiet, alone, times of peace and natural calmness can also be times which can help sustain me. There are even times when I am focused on a form of creativity which feel like a healthy journey for me in those moments. And, being “Present” is rewarding and can be healing especially when I have been mentally or emotionally stuck in past thoughts/experiences or future fears…

Each of us can benefit from finding and achieving those moments when our soul is vibrating in the music of life. “Know ThySelf” is attributed to Socrates with the full quote being, “To know thyself is the beginning of wisdom.” Some interpret this to mean it is important to know your limitations and possibly what you have YET to learn. And, many of us are lazy and allow other people to tell you what to know, feel, think, and to do. It benefits you, and your soul, to “Know” your own unique needs and requirements and to then find appropriate ways to fulfill yourself.

Be gentle with yourself. Love yourself. Support other people in their pursuit to find and fulfill their soul’s need to bask in the music of life… Remember, each one us must walk our own path. Our journey is unique so do not expect to drag another person on all your travels through your human lifetime. When you are acting in the genuine moments of your life, “Dance Like No One is Watching…” Be willing to “let go” and not to attached to the moment or the outcome. Delight in that special, unique moment and then move on… Along the way, take full responsibility for what you have created, be it most positive or what is judged as challenging, painful, or difficult. These are YOUR lessons. Keep your eyes open and focus upon the horizon as you look to expand your wisdom and awareness. And, “Know Thyself…”

When those special moments come and you resonate with the Music of Your Life float with the current in this moment in the River of Life. (Yup, be buoyant and float with reckless abandon!)

You are a Blessing! You are a Miracle! And, whether your mind knows it or not, YOU are Perfect!

Life

Living as a human in our human world is a Miracle! You may not be fully conscious regarding the reason you are in your human life but there is a very complex reason and your human life is Perfect! We live our human lives with primitive 3 dimensional, ego-driven thinking. This fills our human lives with drama as we stumble about in our chosen incarnations. We get caught in being human and so we can miss the bigger perspective of 4th and 5th dimensional consciousness. This is the way it is supposed to be. If we were living as a human as a soul in the higher dimensions then we would not have to take our human limitations so seriously. (We would miss out on all the human drama and the lessons which go along with being human.) We would have acceptance and equanimity regarding the challenges we face on the human plane…

We are Perfect! We are so much more than our human minds can conceive of and understand. Life is a Miracle! Life is Amazing! In our human lives we are bumping up against challenges to learn from and to test our “learned” consciousness. When we actually stumble into higher consciousness, we have a higher perspective on what living as a human is all about. We are here to test our wisdom and to be of service to the other souls we bump into. These other souls are actually “us” in seemingly other forms (lives.) Yes, no matter who we interact with on the human plane in our human lives, we are dancing with ourselves in larger scheme of higher consciousness. So, we can be aware of this and ignore it or deny it or jump right in and attempt to be of service…

In the consciousness of the higher dimensions, we “know” that there is no such thing as death. Our spirits transition into other forms, perhaps into other human lives… There is no such thing as Time. Time is a construct of our human, “limited” consciousness, in an attempt to create something which does not exist, a linear representation for our 3 dimensional minds to attempt to grasp a human understanding of life on the Earth plane. In the higher dimensions we “know” that we are playing out multiple lives simultaneously. We are learning and testing our wisdom and expanding our consciousness in every moment, even if our human consciousness is in denial regarding these multiple, simultaneous realities. (Hey, even I am getting confused as I share these metaphysical concepts…)

Life, “What a concept,” and very complex. Life is perfect! We are not alone, ever… We are a part of the much larger Universal Divinity and Consciousness. Our limited human understanding is a testing ground for us. There are no accidents. Each moment offers a new challenge to expand our consciousness within. We are constantly expanding even if we re-experience our lessons in similar experiences and get to test our expanding conscious wisdom, even if this is an unconscious process (to our human minds). Gratitude and appreciation are higher levels of consciousness which we are moving toward as our human dramas play out. And, it makes this somewhat easier when we “know” that Death is NOT the enemy. If you want to explore this concept, consider reading or listen to or discussing experiences which Near Death Survivors have to present. This is a gift to raise our human consciousness.

A goal would be to never take our lives for granted but also do not take ourselves too seriously. In Spirit YOU are perfect! In Spirit, you are powerful! You are an important part of the larger Divine Spirit. And, YOU are here to serve! Yes, even if your service is to muddy the water and seemingly obstruct other human lives. Sometimes, “old Souls” come into human form for brief periods of human time to offer lessons to incarnated souls. These may include “short” lives which end in tragedy for the learning experience of other developing forms of human consciousness (other people.) As a human, we must learn and appreciate even the difficult challenges we encounter. After your human life survives a difficult challenge, you can be a role model of a “victim” or some other more conscious human form… No matter what, YOU are amazing! Thank you for being you! Thank you for choosing to incarnate and to serve on the human plane. (There are many Souls/Spirits who know we are Heroes for choosing to “show up” and play our roles as an incarnated human.)

You are Loved! You are a Blessing!

PS… Each Human baby who is born, is a Miracle! They are Amazing and Perfect! They are here to serve and to teach the humans they interact with. Even if they are incarnated for only a brief amount of human time, they have lived their purpose and they are manifested angels. They have chosen to incarnate and to mix it up with human drama and are appreciated for the efforts they have made. Honor and Love all Life Forms. Honor and Love every miraculous manifestation you encounter of the human plane. (If you were to stop and to consider every object is a miracle and a Divine manifestation…)

Thanks for reading!

Disclaimer: If you have not read many of these blog articles before, these are often coming up from intuition (“Guidance”) and seem to find form as a request from higher sources. Some body is supposed to be exposed to this string of words and thoughts to trigger some form of learning. Maybe that some body is YOU! No matter what, please continue growing in consciousness and sharing your story as a service to the people you bump into along your path… Thank you for being YOU!

The Times They Are a Changing…

Change is a constant. Nothing remains the same. Yes, we want things to remain in the familiar but the Universe continues to grow, to expand, and the forces at work create changes. The unknown is scary, or, it is an opportunity. It is unavoidable. Everyday, parts of our ourselves, our physical selves, die or change and new molecules and cells form to move us along our path. Each moment is a new experience. We can attempt to deny it, but we have a new perspective with every step we take. “Please get out of the way, if you can not lend a hand” so each new moment can burst into existence.

We often hold ourselves back with old ways of thinking and our anxiety of adapting to new things. This does not change the process but does add drama to our lives and to the lives of the people we interact with. Sure, we have learned “tried and true” ways of doing things but that does mean that this will fit all the time and into our future life situations.

From a “spiritual” perspective, Time does NOT exist. (This may be a “mind bending” concept, so “strap in” to take in the following concepts most safely…) Time is a fabrication of our “limited” human minds and consciousness. The human brain needs to understand a linear sequence of experiences to orderly track and to compare various moments. In a spiritual understanding, every moment in time exists simultaneously. Yes, even all of our “past lives” are occurring at the same moment, for only the “present” exists. We think that we have a past when in actuality we only have the present moment. And, that is why being most present is so important, but difficult, as an “awakened” human being. When we are free of our three dimensional thinking as souls, we are open, available, and free to be in multiple places at the same moment in our human time. This is very difficult for our limited human consciousness to most fully understand.

This brings us, again, to the concept of learning to fully live in the present moment. Much easier said than done. When we are most conscious, within the limitations of our human incarnation, we “know” the miracles and complexities of every moment, we are consciously aware of in our limited human lives. Something to strive for but difficult for human consciousness to achieve. (It requires that we step outside our 3 dimensional way of thinking about existence…)

So, when we say that the times they are a changing, we are handicapped by human understanding that the concept of Time even exists. When in fact (at a spiritual, soul level) time does NOT exist, only the “present moment” exists. Linear thinking creates the drama that humans live within AND it seems to not allow us to actually learn from the human mistakes which we repeat over and over in our human cultures and human history. Our human lives are temporary and amazing “learning” experiences. We get to test our consciousness and “remembered” wisdom in each moment of “human time.” Yes, until we get it “right.” (Words of judgement used which are easier for human understanding…) When we get it “right,” we have the choice of continuing to incarnate or to spend our consciousness in higher realms, where we will serve on different levels. When asked, the Dalai Lama, as a highly “evolved” human soul, if he would want to return to another human incarnation when his “time” as a human was over. The Dalai Lama replied that he hopes that he can return again to human form so that he can continue to “serve” as an example and teacher to those who he interacts with in human form… (To consider: if you do NOT want to return as a human incarnation, chances are that this assures you that your soul has to return, again and again, until you want to return… And then, you will not “have to….”

YOU are a Miracle! Thank you considering how best to continue raising your human consciousness. YOU are Loved!

Clear Vision

First, let me ask, is it important to have clear vision? This can be a “loaded question.” In the physical human plane, vision is one of the primary senses used to navigate and observe the 3 dimensional world. Is this critical? Well, many people live quite well without the vision coming through their eyes and registering in their brains. This kind of vision makes life somewhat easier for most people but then you can ask, is this physical vision needed?
When we interpret the light which registers through the eyes we have the perspective of our years of learning and observations. We also have mental/emotional factors which play into our interpretation. Example, if you were burned in childhood fire may be interpreted in ways where people not traumatized by fire would view this differently. An emotional overlay can change how we react to what we “see.”

In types of meditation including Zen meditation, we can be asked to “soft-focus” our eyes on a mandala, or fixed point, as a focusing for meditation and a quieting of the visual sensations which can lead the eyes to be distracted from the meditation. Darkness or soft lighting can also gently filter out these distraction so we can see “inside” more clearly. We are not shut off from the world, just focusing “softly” to feel what can be found in a quieter state of mind.

Our minds can “muddy the water” of any observation whether this comes from external view of the outside or an internal sensing of the an internal thought, or feeling, or insight. It can be helpful to be consciously aware of when our minds might muddy the observation. The past history or anxiety/fear may get in the way of being most fully “present” and available to witness the internal and external world which we travel through on our path through life. So, clarity of vision can be complex and important. If we “miss” the full experience, perhaps we will be tested by a “re-experiencing” of the same, or similar, event again in our life. Complex issues can also be difficult for our 3 dimensional minds to most fully understand. Examples, human emotions can be very complex with a wide range of possible interpretations. AND, the human mind has difficulty when traveling into the “higher realms” where dimensions beyond our limited human understanding can be felt but not fully “known” on a mental level. An example of this, from personal experience, is to find words for Divine Unconditional Love and Acceptance which is NOT a common human experience (due to the limitations of the human mind.) (Divine Unconditional Love IS unconditional, which is not how human love on the Earthly plane is, for most of us.)

So, I ask again, after these words have “muddied” the water, is clear vision even possible for human consciousness? And, is it worth striving to achieve? Well, that is a very personal question. Many of us have lives filled with human drama as part of our human challenge. We can be distracted and this can make our lives less clear, less focused, and more of an emotional roller coaster. This confusion can be an important human challenge for us and the people around us. I do like those few moments when my mind is on the side-lines and my heart can feel most clearly what is possible… So, for me, clear vision is not always a visual thing with light coming in through my eyes. That is why, people without normal human eye-sight may also be able to see more clearly.

Enlightening…??? Well, please consider where you may venture into the realms of “clear vision.” (You can always benefit from switching on more light (and not from the “physical” light spectrum) as you pursue higher consciousness…)

You are Loved!

The Joy of “Joy”

I would rather be Joyful, Happy, and Playful than serious. I take my Joy, seriously. I am serious about Happiness and Playfulness. If you have to stop and think about this or are angered by this admission then, YOU, need to take a Very Serious Look At YOUR Joyfulness… If you take your life too (toooooo…..) serious AND You take “Yourself” too seriously, then wake up from your anxiety and your fearful side, find your way into the “Present Moment,” and start dancing in the light of the miracle you are and the world you live within. Perhaps you can benefit from starting out by learning to laugh at yourself. You and your life are filled with drama, but if you look at it from a higher perspective, it is pretty entertaining. Have you ever lost yourself in a movie, TV show, or well written book and feel the angst of the characters to the point of distraction. This is the entertainment you sought out. And, when done well, feels real and perhaps “close to home.”

Laughter is a Great medicine. It cures what ails you. When you laugh at yourself, your foibles, and your own self-created drama, you are much healthier. In my own life, I often say (and know) that “everything I eat looks good on me,” because almost daily, what I eat ends up on my clothes. This is true because I do not have a reliable dinner table to eat at because the dinner table is often covered with harvested rocks waiting to be painted with a heart which will be placed out into the world to bring smiles to the finders as a service my girlfriend offers. My food on my clothes is a small, but entertaining, side effect to attempting to bring smiles to our world. And, standard clean clothes are so boring, anyways… Joy and laughter are an important part of my world AND these would benefit most of the people I come in contact with as I stumble around in my life.

I have made a choice, whether conscious or unconscious, to leave a legacy of laughter and joy. I want to be remembered as a man who was silly, playful, and joy filled with a focused serious side to draw upon when needed. (I am pretty functional in a crisis when the situation seems called for…) But, hearing the funny side of a life experience is something I actively look forward to celebrating and sharing. Yes, this can be distracting when people want to be “taken seriously,” but this “need” to be taken seriously is part of the drama we find in our roles of living as a human…

“Beginner’s Mind” and living in childlike wonderment is a goal to strive for. When applying this behavior, you are more apt to seek and find joy in the Miracles of life. Yes, the unexplainable Miracles which surround us in our miraculous world. If you over look miracles because you have a “jaded” attitude about the amazing things in your life, you are destined to dig an emotional and spiritual hole for yourself which may not lead to life happiness and satisfaction in your relationships. Yes, your partners in your relationships are imperfect BUT they are amazing and perfect in their own special imperfect ways. Sharing smiles, laughter, Joy, and hugs are some of most useful activities you can do in your human, drama filled, lives. And, if you are either too serious (and self-important) or too detached from simple values in life, you may be the butt of jokes from the people you interact with and perhaps to be ridiculed as the entertainment your role seems to have lead you to be. Sorry, to offend you if you are sensitive to these words but from a higher perspective these thoughts may be held true.

And, I Love You! You have chosen to find human form in my human life. I am here to learn from you and our interaction. If possible, I will find laughter and joy, if only at my own self-created drama. Thanks you for pointing this out to me. You may not even realize how valuable you are in my life and my learning. Crying and sadness are not the enemy or even opposite Joy and Happiness. These are other human reactions which we experience and can learn from.

Self disclosure: I am impatient and quick to judgement. I quite often swear “like a drunken sailor” but, no rationalization intended, it entertains me and I am here to learn from this clearly imperfect Divine Soul trapped in a swearing, judgmental human life. If you can still like me with self-disclosure, then let’s have a laugh and as imperfect humans together. If you can not accept my imperfectness, then stumble off in another life direction and we will meet up again on the other side of the vail. We are different pieces of the same whole. And, remember that I Love YOU, no matter what…

What is “Really” Going On?

Once upon a timeā€¦ I imagined that I had “It” figured out… But, now, I am not so sure.

I wonder what is really going on…
There was once a time when it used to seem like I knew what was going on and now the more I know, the more I realize how little I understand what is really going on. Life spins and this roller coaster ride, though entertaining, does not seem to be as clear as my brain can handle. It takes living and experiencing many things to learn how little you know.

It is not that life is a mystery. (Which it is…) It is that our human minds cannot fully comprehend the full magnitude of what life is beyond the three dimensions. Yes, there is more than we can figure out with our linear minds when caught up in the limitations of space and time.

Sometimes I have a sense of peace when I can accept being “present” and not attempting to be “in control” of the uncontrollable life I am living in my human drama. For me, I simply observe in a nonjudgemental way. (Very occasionally.) I can attempt to remain in a state of Equanimity regarding the crisis’ and upheavals which human drama manifests. I look for a more simple pattern of appreciation and Gratitude for the “Miracles” which cross my vision (or other human senses…) BUT, (Big But,) most of the time I want to “understand” what I can not understand.

My mind and ego want to most fully understand and control every situation because these parts of me feel safer when I come up with an “understanding” and can pretend to be in control of the difficult life situations and interactions which I stumble into.

The “bottom line” is that every situation, every interaction, and every human drama is a perfect moment to test out my consciousness and my developing wisdom on the human plane of existence. When I can find amazement and joy with a “Beginners Mind” in these experiences, as a baby/toddler does when they begin to explore their world, then I might temper my fear and anxiety. Perhaps, I can even surrender into the moment to most fully appreciate how weird and wonderful being a human can be.

When I can elevate my perspective to a more broad view, I can find and then celebrate the human drama which I find myself within.

Beyond this incomprehensible conundrum, as we play our roles in our human dramas, PLEASE know that you are Loved. You are Perfect! YOU are a Miracle! Though other humans we bump into may not say it, YOU are NOT alone. YOU are an important piece of the Divine Spirit. Thank you for being you.
