Love is At the Core

Love is at the core of our Divine Spirit. This message came to me from my Guidance as I considered my daily meditation practice. When I was first instructed on how to meditate in my early 20’s, I was asked to focus upon a “higher concept” or higher vibrational “feeling.” The feeling which Guidance gave to me was to focus upon the word (and concept) of Love. At the time, I did not consciously understand but it felt correct for me. So, I begin each meditation with Breathing in the Unconditional Love of the Divine, into my heart, and then exhaling this Unconditional Love out as a Gift to the Universe (and beyond into the higher realms.)

Let me be clear. This Unconditional Divine Love is not the same as human conditional, three dimensional, Love. For me, human Love is conditional and does not vibrate at the same high level of Divine Love. It can’t. It is locked into human mental, limiting perspective. When I was 19 years old, I was blessed to have an experience of visiting a half-way point to Death and, due to my naivety, I momentarily felt Divine Unconditional Love and Acceptance. At that moment, I did not fully appreciate this “gift.” Since then, I have discovered that not every human gets to consciously “know” this experience and feeling. Though, we all bask in this, whether we mentally appreciate it or not. In major ways this has altered my living of this life.

Getting back to today’s “message,” I felt once again that at the core of all life, both on Earth and in the Higher Realms, Love, Unconditional Love, is the vibration of the Divine Spirit which is central to all Divine Consciousness. I can not find words to fully explain this. I simply “KNOW” this is as Truth. In our Souls, below the mental defensiveness of “Ego,” is the resonance with Divine Love. It is what connects all of us. It is far beyond what our Human Minds can fully know due to the limitations we have in holding on to our 3 dimensional belief system. It is a “feeling” and not a thought. It is a “Knowing” and not learned concept…

When we pause, become quiet, and allow ourselves to be most “present” in a deeper moment, we find ourselves basking in the Light of Divine Love. You may not “see” it but your heart/soul can “feel” it. And, it is not easily understood so we might add labels to this that have roots in religion or philosophy which are constructed by the mind and not fully capable of higher dimensional “knowing.” This is confusing to consider (as a mental process.) But, engaging and freeing as a deeper feeling/knowing. And, remember, this goes further than human conditional love. It is not found in the movies or books or even in poetry. It is not between two people in “relationship.” It does exist as a spiritual bond with Everyone you experience, even when your human mental Judgement creates difficulty in know that we are all One and Connected. (This is my ongoing challenge as a lesson…)

YOU are Unconditionally Loved! YOU are a Miracle! YOU are Blessed!

Painting

There are many activities where you can meditate with your eyes open. Some people call this a form of Zen Meditation. Painting a wall is near the top of my Zen Meditation activities which I have experienced. There is a repetitive activity where 90% of the wall’s surface can be painted without a great deal of rational thought. A smooth even hand can allow for an easy flow of paint upon the surface. This can be satisfying because you get to see a result and, barring errors, you are often making a positive difference in the world. BUT, is it superficial and shallow as a positive difference you are making? Covering the surface of the wall with another surface can be aesthetically pleasing to many observers. And, surface painting is by definition shallow. It does not get to the very core of many of life’s mysteries…

There has been an Eastern meditative activity which can fit for wall painting summed up in an expression you may have heard. “Chop wood and carry water” has been said to describe the benefit of mundane, routine tasks… “Before enlightenment, chop wood and carry water; after enlightenment, chop wood and carry water. — Zen proverb” (A more complete discussion can be found at: https://medium.com/the-junction/chop-wood-and-carry-water-742765bf4bed Painting in a relatively mindless way, with your thoughts in a neutral state, can lead to being present and maybe some self-reflection. You can allow yourself to get “lost” in a simple task, like painting, and find peace of mind. And, a simple task which allows you to find yourself into a “present” moment and is a humbling activity, for most people.

Wall painting requires preparation. Preparation of the wall’s surface. Preparation of your materials. Preparation of your physical self with proper clothes. And, preparation of the mental/emotional self to most fully participate in and enjoy the process of wall painting. Many people actually really enjoy the activity for their own personal reasons. In the book, “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” Mark Twain told a part of the story by having Tom cleverly get help “whitewashing” a fence. Friends wanted to help in the process so badly, Tom was able to get them to pay for the privilege of painting the fence. This is a work of fiction and there is some truth to the attractiveness of the simple task of painting a surface. Obviously, if it is done professionally and is a skill learned over time, it is more like work than the “fun” that Tom Sawyer was selling.

In life, have you ever “whitewashed” over some aspects of your life to create an appearance of change? A superficial change can look different but this may only run “skin deep.” And, even a skin deep change in perspective may turn your life around, under certain circumstances. I am the last one to judge whether your life change is superficial or one deep to your core. The awareness of whether you are taking full responsibility for your activities or responses in this life or working most deeply on tackling the changes needed in your life is really up to you. You know when you are just masking over the real challenges in your life. You are the one learning and growing from these life experiences and whether you are using integrity in dealing with the issues which affect other people.

In truth, from my history of wall painting, I have been told more than once by professional wall painters that I should NOT be a professional wall painter because I do not have the correct temperament for painting. I am a bit too hyperactive. But, for several minutes, I can focus really well and do a great job at wall painting. After that, things get a little rough. When I am moving too fast, I have been known to step in my paint tray and track painted footprints where they should not go… Maybe, someday, I will slow down and be more methodical. Or, maybe, I am not good wall painting material by personality… It should also been said about me that I do not do superficial very well, at least a lot of the time. “Hi. How are you? A lot of weather we are having…” (An example of “small talk” that I am not good at…)

Seeing a freshly painted room is amazing. A fresh start is often a good thing to experience. Now, what will you do with this new created space???… Everyone needs a “fresh start” from time to time. Looking new or fresh can change your personal attitude. Maybe you have more self-confidence. Perhaps your superficial external change is an attention getting device. Changing your exterior can change your mood. I have a story. In college I took an adolescent psychology class. Being a Psychology major this did not seem unusual. We were given an assignment. Since adolescents are transitioning from being children into growing into an adult stage, most new things they attempt are designed to test the waters of being a bit older. So, I decided to take on this project by changing my exterior self. I had always wanted to try “white face” as a clown. I used white face and painted a sad clown face on my face and went to the shopping Mall in town. I walked around wondering what reaction I would get being so unusual for the shoppers. Most people avoided eye contact and looked uncomfortable with this odd presentation. Only two people approached me and they did not care to connect with me or ask why I was looking like a sad clown. What they were curious about is where I had gotten the white face make up. My sad exterior began to sink in and emotionally I began to take on this persona. There is no way I could have expected that this silly makeup would make me feel deeply sad. Do other costumes affect the way people feel? A suit, a tie, high heels, blue jeans, tee shirts, football helmets…

I learned a lot about myself and how my “costume” can create a reaction emotionally and perhaps a “statement” about who I am attempting to be in the world.

You will engage in activities today. Some will be critical and important, so stay focused. Some will be simple or mundane and perhaps turn meditative. What are the “painting activities” of your life? Can you appreciate the simple things as you chop wood and carry water?

The “simple” tasks are important, though seemingly basic. Appreciate the moment. Find your way into being present. And, consider even the most superficial acts as a possible doorway into a state of meditative consciousness which can have value. You are a Miracle. Consider what a miraculous thing it is to paint a wall with ALL that goes into that seemingly simple act… And, if you do not want someone stepping in a paint tray and tracking footprints around, you want to ask someone other than me for assistance with your painting project.

You are NOT superficial. You are perfect. You are a miracle. And, whether you have been told this or not, you are loved. The Divine Spirit burns bright within you.

BTW… If you have read this far, I want you to know that my son and I recently painted every wall in a new home. It was an effort that I did out of love for my son and his family. It made a difference and is an experience which we shared. When you offer an act of service it benefits both sides of the equation. Even a simple task can add value to your relationship in ways that only time will tell. Appreciate every act of service given to you AND everyone you perform. These are Life’s unspoken miracles, much of the time.

You are Amazing!

Peace!

Peace for Everyone! Is this possible? Sure it is, AND… Our language fails us again. We can get painted into a corner by using words which mean so many things to so many people. I have used the statement, “for every truth, the opposite is equally true,” to describe that whatever you believe to be true from a different perspective almost anything can be “felt,” if not “proven,” to be “true.” Yes, even the seemingly opposite of your “truth.” Words like Love, Death, Heaven, Hell, Integrity, Truthfulness, Honesty, and now, Peace can mean different things to different people. We may want to feel that important words which convey important things are absolute and not caught in a game of semantics but they are. And, getting back to the point of this posting, Peace for Everyone is possible. In fact, if we shed the wrappings of fear, anxiety, dogmatism, and mistrust, we can all feel the deepest sense of Divine Peace.

Divine Peace is within each of us. We do not have to look externally for this. In fact, if we do attempt to find Peace externally, we may find confusion which may be, by some people’s definition, the opposite of peace. My definition of “Peace,” which will NOT do it justice, is the experience of our perfect souls/spirits fully connected to the Divine Consciousness. It is the part of us which is a hologram of the Divine. It is our internal God force. It is our true essence. And, it is beyond full human understanding because it’s full comprehension is far beyond our 3 dimensional human thinking. Divine Love and Consciousness can not be fully, adequately, defined in words or completely felt by human senses (except perhaps in brief flashes of awakening and enlightenment.) As an example, I once experienced Divine Unconditional Love for an instant. I will never forget how great this felt for that instant. This experience is burned deeply into my consciousness and yet, I can not recall the full depth of this Unconditional Divine Love. My mind is not capable of “knowing” the full scope of what this is due to the limitations of being a 3 dimensional human. And, I know that when I am not in my human incarnation, I will be free to live in this unconditional Love.

However, most people define Peace differently. A lack of conflict between people or nations or religions (or beliefs or politics or philosophies) is how most people might seem to view human peacefulness. Perhaps, it is defined as a moment in time without distraction or troubling thought. Perhaps, it is a measurable physical lack of movement or disruption. Perhaps, it is a deeper level of Meditation which seems to step away from normal life activities (and this might be the closest sense of the Divine.) I agree that many of these human definitions of peace fit within my language better than the concept of Divine Peace. We can be limited by language. For example, how does language describe the fragrance of a flower or baking bread. A great deal is lost when using language to define emotions or feelings. In English, we compare and contrast to attempt to box in an idea or a feeling in to a manageable concept. We can use sentences telling our communication partner what a thing is Not. Peace is often described as Not War or conflict. But, deep Peace is something more…

Everyone can find Divine Peace within. It is a “stretch” and many of us are not geared to look inside for the Peace which is possible. “Peace on Earth” is possible by my definition but may not be a 24/7 sustainable concept because human life and distractions can get in the way. It is something to strive for. For me, the concept of “Enlightenment” may be a step toward living in a more abundant state of Peace. And, if we as humanity were more fully engaged in the search for consciousness and Enlightenment, we would have, by my definition, be a much more Peaceful World.

In my opinion, we can move toward deeper personal peace by: being fully “present,” quieting our minds, breathing slowly and consciously, and pursuing a meditative awareness which allows a release of fear and embraces a Divine state of consciousness. All easier said than done. Intention and practice can assist you in bringing this into your life. I focus on the concept of Divine Love. I slowly breathe this Love in and then send this Love from my heart out to the Universe as a positive focusing tool which can lead me to a greater sense of Peace. This has taken me time and effort to be able to achieve especially in the quieting of my active mind. There might be reasons to struggle with finding deep Divine Peace and this is a personal struggle which is a part of why we came into our incarnations. A “test” in developing the Divine Wisdom we have come into our incarnations to experience, to “Remember,” and to expand.

For me, there is also the knowing/feeling that we are all perfect as souls of the Divine. As we take on our lives and the “roles” in the drama of life we play, our minds and ego may lose touch with deeper perfection of who we really are. When we re-discover or “remember” who we are and where we have come from, we are closer to knowing and remembering the Divine Peace which we have within. Consider how you might turn this light back on as a human test (challenge) while living in your human body in your human drama filled life. This is what we came here to experience so try not to consider this state of drama to be “bad” or evil. It is just what is and a part of our learning. YOU are a Blessing and celebrated for coming into the “testing ground” for higher consciousness on the field of human drama!

In my belief and understanding, peace is possible for everyone. Striving to find and know Peace is an act which moves us toward Enlightenment and spiritual wisdom. This “heaven on Earth” can be approached and achieved by most of us but the desire and the intent is often obscure or lacking. Waking up to this possibility is a message which can be shared and supported when we find people pursuing this focused direction. Where possible, hang out with individuals who are on this path not as a political, religious, or purely mental exercise but as an honest individual pilgrimage toward higher consciousness.

No matter what your beliefs are regarding these words and concepts, YOU are Perfect! You are a Miracle! You are an important piece of the Divine Consciousness. Thank you for being YOU!

Walking Meditation

On my walk today guidance seemed to suggest that I create a blog posting regarding the Art of the Walking Meditation. As I considered this suggestion, I was flooded with guidance’s suggestion on what to include in this posting. Since I have learned to “Just Say Yes” to my guidance, I am complying. And, walking is a great way to meditate, to become more “present,” to take positive time for yourself, and to exercise. Consider these reminders of wisdom you are already familiar with. (This wisdom is built into your DNA and your Soul.)

Eyes open meditation can fall into the philosophy of Zen meditation which tends to encourage being a part of the world rather than closing your eyes to purely focus within. ZaZen walking meditation has been described to me as eyes open, slow moving, conscious of the world, as a meditation. Breathe slowly. Walk slower than your normal pace. Feel your heel land in front of you and then roll forward on to your toes. And, repeat. If you can do so safely, “soft focus” your eyes. Enjoy each slow breath and each relaxed step. Focus upon the footsteps and your breath. In the beginning, just try 50 steps in this conscious way. Doing this in the safety of nature with less traffic and distractions from manmade chaos can help with this meditation. However, even trying this as you walk back from your lunch to work or school or home activities can make your day move more comfortably with less internal distractions. You may want to remember to turn off your phone calls, texting and social media signals.

Walking consciously out in a natural setting is meditative. In the trees, by water, on trails vs pavement, in the sunshine or in a gentle rain are all positive additions. Avoiding traffic, human dramas, loud construction projects, airplanes, warfare, and screaming politicians or rock music may also seem obvious and will enhance a more meditative state of mind. (Though bears, some dogs, venomous snakes, large crashing waves, cougars and falling trees might also pose a distraction to avoid in nature. Just saying the obvious.) You get the point. Mellow in nature is better. Walking a bit more slowly, breathing, and gently gazing at the miracles which our world can provide can make this a great “forest bathing” experience. Allowing for time and possibly fewer pressing appointments on either side of this nature walk would be a helpful consideration if possible. AND, remember to breathe… Slowly and fully.

Additions might include, feeling the warmth of the sun, listening to the stream/river/waves, feeling the gentle breezes, and even smelling the fragrance of the salt air or grasses or flowers or the trees. I like to imagine that I can breathe in the warm sunlight or soak up the warm breezes to better help heal and to recharge me as I slowly drift down (or up) the path. There are times and places when walking with someone else for safety or guidance can be good. And, there are times when walking alone without extra conversation can be most relaxing. The bottom line is to be as “present” in the moment as you gently move through this nature loving walk. You may want to pick up an interesting rock to hold and possibly to help “ground” you as you connect most peacefully with nature. (Sometimes I even hug a tree to ground myself out. Are you laughing? Well consider trying this weird 1960’s consciousness. YOU may like it.)

Sure, most of you have done this and know how to walk in meditation in nature BUT do you schedule the time in your busy, drama filled lives to participate in these meditative walks??? Well, Just Do It!

Be open to surprises and the gifts the Divine Spirit will provide for you. If you walk with the “Beginner’s Mind” the beauty will unfold just for your heart to dance in the light of spectacular marvels and amazing revelations. If you ask respectfully for these, they will show up. Maybe in the clouds. Maybe the leaves dancing in the breezes. Perhaps the songs of the birds or the chatter of the squirrels. Perhaps the appearance of the butterfly or the hummingbird will symbolize guidance reaching out to embrace you. Be open and the delights of natures will present themselves for you and fan the flames of the brightening light of your consciousness. As you are a small part of this large Universe, you might even consider the amazing things which have occurred to create this beautiful blue planet and all the life forms which share it with you.

And. Walking in wonder with Beginners Mind, even in the city, can show you amazing miracles to appreciate and to show gratitude for. Every miracle you acknowledge is another important, and beautiful, lesson for you.

There is Joy to found in every moment and in every step you take. Please consider the search for the Joy and the miracles which surround us.

You are Amazing!

Forest Bathing

Shinrin Yoku is the Japanese name for an Ecotherapy technique translated into “Forest Bathing.” This is also considered “horticultural therapy” and “grounding.” Research is inconclusive as to the how and the why this is therapeutic for people and may fall into the realm of “placebo” effects by rigid scientific thinking. So what if it is placebo… But, hanging out in nature is complicated (in all the many variables) and therapeutic. What do you “Know” about the positive effects of hanging out in a natural scene like a forest or a beach or a trail through the mountains?

Walking through a natural setting is good for you physically because you are getting exercise, burning calories, and assisting your parasympathetic nervous system response. Hiking in nature assists you mentally as a break from man made technology, with natural lighting & colors, and perhaps distance from “positive ions” in favor of calming, “negative ions.” Drifting, one step at a time, along a path contributes to the spiritual process of “grounding” where you release excess energy into the Earth, connects you with the natural Universe, and offers you the opportunity to witness first hand the Miracles of Life on our planet. As you breathe in the freshly oxygenated forest air, you are free from the human made confines of vehicles or manufactured homes.

Perhaps the best, possibly placebo, effect you can connect with nature and the Divine Spirit firsthand. Not in theory or in books or on TV… You, yes YOU, are a firsthand “experiencer” of the wonders of the natural world from where we have evolved (or created) and where natural appreciating rebalances our hearts, our minds, and our bodies. Not everyone loves being out in nature. These people are wrong! (Notice my “Judgement” with feeling…) Nature is found in every cell of our bodies and a lack of appreciation, to me, is like a denial of our living roots. (Obviously, my judgements are a topic for other blog postings or even many past postings.)

Forest Bathing is an activity I celebrate on a regular basis. A walk in the trees changes me in positive ways where I can relax and be more present. I release stress and drink in the amazing features of the natural world. This feels healing. Mind, body and spirit celebrate these moments and this effort in reconnecting with my natural worldly existence. With some small amount of distance from the trailhead, I can feel the Zen meditation (Za Zen) taking form. If I can be mentally “present,” I can begin to connect with this environment and many times I connect with my intuition as I feel my “essence” in the natural world.

Most people find solace in trips into natural environments. Being by water or trees or rocky monoliths offers a needed break from crowded frenetic man-made environments. “Getting away from it all” is a common expression suggesting the healing benefits of getting away from urban areas and back “out” into nature. Even a visit to a beautiful park or garden can help trigger this ecotherapy. For stress management and anxiety control, (unless you are afraid of open spaces – agoraphobia) your time in nature is more than just relaxing. It is invigorating and recharging you with the natural “life force.”

Obviously, as I write this posting, I am a “believer” in the positive effects which a walk in a natural environment can bring to me. I schedule this into my life. For me, a spiritual experience is a part of this attraction though this can be subtle or dramatic. When I cross paths with an animal or a huge Cedar tree or flowing stream/river, my heart celebrates this gift to me and my consciousness. I am spoiled because I am living in the Pacific NorthWest and when I roll out my front door, I am only a few steps from being enveloped in natural beauty. This choice to live in PNW was partially a conscious one and partially driven by my guidance BUT fully loved and appreciated.

So, go have a Forest Bath. YOU deserve it! Feel the Earth beneath your feet as you tread in the natural world. Be present. Be grounded. Be blessed to resonate in the natural rhythms you can experience. YOU are a miracle. Thank you for walking the Earth and sharing your spirit…

Time for Grounding

Are YOU spinning like a top? Is life swirling and creating an energetic maelstrom which is blowing you about? Are the multiple life dramas you are working through feeling overwhelming or maybe depressing? Well, welcome to the club! Yup, we are being pushed 24/7 to our limits AND we are feeling it! So, what do you do to get back in control or to mellow out? Recently, I was chatting with a group of people and discussing this common phenomenon and a discussion regarding how best to “Ground Out” came up…

Grounding out suggests that there is an excess of energy (maybe anxiety) within you (your body or your consciousness) and that, like electrical energy, it can be released by grounding into the Earth. Lighting rods offer this grounding to a discharge of electrical energy called lighting… (Your science lesson for today.) But, your release of emotional energy can be very important for this excess energy may distract you and keep you from focusing upon what life requires. So, grounding can be a very important and life preserving endeavor.

Everybody is triggered by their own unique set of circumstances. Everybody holds their stress and anxiety in their own way. And, “letting go” or grounding out will also be a unique experience. So, you will find your own way to do this and perhaps, you may even remember to use these tools/techniques. Using these preventively can become a positive habit which can work to keep you healthy, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. If you do not know how to begin to find your way then I have some suggestions to attempt.

Suggestions:
1. Be present: “in the moment” Easier said than done but well worth practicing. Too often we can find ourselves reliving a moment (of upset or negativity) from a past experience. Or, we can dread an unknown on the horizon off in our future. Enlightenment is often demonstrated by “being” in the present moment which is easier said than done…
2. Breathe (Most important to help find your way back into your body AND the Present Moment) By focusing on an essential physical act and controlling this moment we can lead the body into relaxing and becoming more present. Perhaps, you can attempt to breathe slowly, feel cool air as you inhale, pause a moment, then release/exhale the warmed breath as you slowly and fully exhale. Imagine that as you exhale you can release any excess energy or anxiety, letting it flow out and away. The next cool, soothing inhales can begin to fill you with a calming sense of peace…
3. Yoga or Stretching (releasing built up muscle tension and increases body awareness.) Yes, breathing and slowly stretching to release tension can be a tool for regaining your presence.
4. Meditation or guided relaxations (see Stress Education Center) Slowly and gently focusing on breathing and “letting go” of thoughts can be a wonderful practice. Intuition can be enhanced. Most people can benefit from practicing this long enough to be able to releasing distractions from thoughts drifting through the mind.
5. Walk in Nature (ground out with each step and be “present” to enjoy the miracles you will encounter in a natural setting.) Savoring your moments in nature and then acknowledging your Gratitude for these moments can be very healthy for you and your emotional well being.
6. Stones, Crystals or Minerals (I have a small collection of pocket polished stones. Each has its own energy and purpose. You discover which ones work best for you and your energy.) Every person is attracted to their own required energies and each mineral has a unique signature. So, find the ones that “feel” best for you.
7. Earthy hands on hobby (clay, wood work, natural wool, gardening, petting your pets, etc) The Earth knows what to do with any excess energy. You allow yourself to release this excess energy through connecting with a natural, Earthy endeavor.
8. Absorbing a High Consciousness Story – not too much Drama (We have enough. Taking in the story by reading or viewing from source of higher consciousness is both healing and provides perspective like, “Autobiography of a Yogi“)
9. Hydro therapy: bath, shower, hot tub, swimming, or a walk near a lake-river-ocean
10. Gentle discussion and support from a highly conscious communication partner (again less: drama, interruption, and gossip) Also, gently sharing your story can offer a new perspective on a past moment that you found challenging or brilliantly uplifting… Any grief which comes up, and then out, can be healing. Playing a victim to your grief is not a great long term strategy so explore the amazing Joy found in the “lesson” you have been offered…

AND, spend time in Gratitude! Acknowledge the beauty and the miracles which surround you. Your connection with the Divine Spirit is perfect though the “Veil” may shroud your knowing/remembering of your pure connection to “Source.”

So many more…
Find ways which work best for you. Get a coach if you can not find one that works for you.

Avoid:
1. Coffee/caffeine, for many, sugar or highly processed foods
2. Traffic/Chaos/Excessive Media/DRAMA
3. Television and politics… Loud media grabbing your attention.
4. And, when possible, angry, negative people if you are attempting to ground out…
5. Negative Self-Talk and being stuck in Victimhood
6. Loud or shrill Humanity
7. Outsiders Expectations of you. Internal expectations of yourself also
8. Speeding through life and breath holding. Slow conscious savoring can be good.
All of these are easier said than done. So, consider these strategies and use them as needed for you to feel most present and in control of your consciousness. If you have children share these, best by role modeling…

YOU can do it! NOW, You can remember to do your grounding program regularly, even before you get too “spun out.” Breathe and be Grateful for the Miracles of Life that present themselves and Love freely (without expectations.) AND, be the role model for your children, your spouse, your co-workers, and your family and friends. This will create a healthier environment for all of you…

You are a Miracle! Thank you for being you.

Thanks for your time and consideration. Your insights and experiences are unique and a blessing, so please share these…

The Mountain Between Us

Have you noticed that there are major barriers between members in our human community? In this day and age, the gaps seem wider than ever. Why are we so polarized and separated from each other? Why is it so difficult to know and to Remember that we are ALL in this together and parts of the same Divine Spirit…?

Nancy Dubois shared this information with us… Nancy responded to a post I wrote and sent to her for her editing…
——————————————
“Thank you John for your love and support. Here is some editing that might be helpful.

Our Masters of The Journey member, Nancy DuBois, has reported that she has had a powerful vision download from guidance. It is with fullness of joy and highest intention of goodwill to all, that she wishes to communicate this important message to each Beloved Being out there! We have created mountains between us composed of judgements, perceptions, false beliefs, lies, ego interpretations, social pressures, ancestral conditioning, and the list goes on! But now Beloveds we have the power within to say to this MOUNTAIN,”BE REMOVED” AND IT WILL OBEY YOU!!!! Joyfully we have the power also to remove the same MOUNTAIN within us!! The message is that the Universe, all the Benevolent Beings, Source, and Guidance, are all primed with great expectation and love and are ready to assist Humanity in one of Her greatest moments, BECOMING ONE, within themselves, with each other and with SOURCE!! IMAGINE!!! You had the power to create it You have the power to remove it!

Nancy’s download experience caused spinning of her internal vortex and an after effect of dizziness which she is happy to report is well on the way to perfect recovery. Nancy went through this experience without fear, calm, and peaceful knowing as it was happening that there was a beautiful message to come of it! She is open to whatever or however Spirit guides her!

John, I saw that people need to see themselves as having the power within to manifest the removal of their mountains with the help of Spirit, being careful not to have them follow someone else. Also they needed to know that as easily as the mountain was created it can be removed just as easily. After all those things we put there are just illusions, they aren’t real. We are all searching for the real us, underneath the mountain!

LOVE OUT LOUD NANCY”
——————————————

Guidance wants us to free ourselves of the obstacles and separation that keep us apart. I for one, agree with Nancy and her Guidance and I signed up to assist in helping to reconnect humanity to its “oneness.”

What would you do to get the word out?
First, you want to remove your mountain and find the experience of your soul’s purpose and its oneness with the Divine Spirit.
Then:
Perhaps a posted Video interview or blog posting are possible to get this info out. Sharing by word of mouth of your “feeling”/”Knowing” of your Oneness…
But, how can we trigger a deeper spiritual experience (like an STE – Spiritual Transformative Experience) to create foundational changes which allow for expanded consciousness and a “knowing” of connectedness? This remains to be seen, and then acted upon. (Please look for the video interview with Nancy and her direct reflection of the Guidance serving all of us… Masters of the Journey YouTube channel. At: https://youtu.be/HiLhSPRPCks)

As our consciousness expands we are moving from 3 dimensional consciousness into 5th dimensional consciousness. How will this be different? 3rd dimensional thinking limits us to what our mind/ego can understand with the limitations of linear time and 3 dimensions in space. The newer consciousness is based upon what we “feel” in a heart based “Knowing.” There are no words or thoughts which can adequately describe the freedom of “5 D” “being” as found in the “higher realms” of Divine Consciousness. It offers a new way of being. Our new goal is to assist/help other people to transition into higher dimensional consciousness. This is aligning with major changes coming in the last months of 2020 as reported my Nancy and other psychic prognosticators, and then into the future. We are going through major planetary changes to prepare us, or to force us, into new ways of thinking, behaving, and feeling/knowing.

As an example, some people believe that the social isolation due to the pandemic creates an environment for people to quiet the distractions our society has provided so we can meditate and go “within” to reconnect with guidance and higher consciousness. If nothing else, this alone is a very useful outcome from these horrendous times. We might find ourselves walking, respectfully, in the moment, in nature and reconnect with the natural world as a walking meditation and consciousness builder. A chance to consider our connection with the Earth, the present moment, and all living things in our Universe. We are small but amazingly important pieces of the broad Universe. So, consider the Joy you might find when you “unplug from media” and quietly go within your soul for unconditional love and the oneness which you can be led to. This is what 5th dimensional consciousness can allow us to more fully know, or Remember. YOU are a Blessing!

Also, for consideration: Am I my brother’s keeper? Yup, we are all connected and so we are all developing into higher consciousness (at a conscious level) together. Not in separation as an individual in competition to get ahead. We all advance together as humans in the drama we call life on Earth. We are all multidimensional beings and there is no advantage to self-limiting by existing in 3 dimensional beliefs and behavior. (YES! Even the people who “trigger” you, are still part of your challenge and lesson as we all slowly increase toward the higher consciousness that is possible. Maybe those who trigger you are your guides to learn the tough lesson of equanimity, acceptance, unconditional love, gratitude, Joy, and the “Oneness” we are striving to achieve…???)

You are a Miracle! Thank you for being you.

The Maelstrom of Our Lives

We are living in early parts of 2020. Our world is changed forever. There will be a new normal but we first will have to learn our lessons as we survive, in some form or another, the Maelstrom created by our world’s response to Covid-19. You can ask, Are we victims of this virus or just actors in the play which has lessons for our planet Earth and the humanity who appears to be the main characters in this Reality Show? Brutal like the “reality” TV show “Naked and Afraid.”

Many of us are in fear or controlled by our anxiety. Some of us pretend to be in control and oppositional to this world-wide crisis. Some of us are looking for the right prayers or meditations to neutralize this virus and its rampage on our “regular” lives. Some of us are oblivious or under the influence of our medications of choice. Some of us stare death defiantly in the eyes. We have heroes. We have victims. We have heroes who are victims. We have drama and a set of circumstances never before seen in the age of instantaneous world-wide communications.

Perhaps there are even a few people of consciousness who maintain equanimity in the face of raging media, stupidity in leadership, and personal concerns to their lives, their health, their wealth, their lifestyles, their communities, and their belief systems. Some day in the future, all this may be explained or understood better than it is today in the midst of this craziness. BUT, do not miss the opportunity to view these travails through the filter of “what can we learn from this situation and how can we serve by sharing any wisdom which comes our way.”

Trust me (but why would you trust me???…) things will get worse for our world before they get better. (Written on April 5th, 2020.) Health will be jeopardized. Finances will be crushed for most of us. Lifestyles will be forced into unfamiliar territory. Our emotions, our thoughts and our spirits will be tested because this is Big, as big as a world-wide transition can be, for our modern world. And, my hope is that humanity will learn new lessons of interdependence and support for humanity which will go far beyond our national borders. We are all in this together. We are in this for the long haul. And, we will need each other as never before. Even our Earth will be healed or it will take out the human civilizations as we have known these to be.

I am trying to think beyond a “Doomsday” scenario. We have an opportunity to expand our consciousness and take steps closer to an enlightenment on this Earthly plane. But, much testing and difficult challenges will be experienced. Political and economic structures will be altered or we will be headed for extinction. And, I do not say this to be an alarmist or as a negative prognosticator. We have an opportunity to learn in consciousness and to grow. There will be desperate, angry, fearful and anxious people who will fight to maintain our old institutions even if this means “mutual assured destruction.” (MAD)

This will be GREAT! Be aware. Be “Present!” Meditate and listen to the deeper wisdom of “Guidance.” Be willing to serve. And, do not fear death because this can get in your way and make the Joys of life more difficult to find. May you find the Divine Spirit within you to give you confidence and solace. Face and love the maelstrom. It can be the miracle we are looking for. (Where possible resist the fear mongering of the media and crazy self-serving leadership…)

You are a Blessing! Thank you for being you.

Every Step You Take

Every day most of us, who are lucky enough to be able to walk around, take thousands of steps as we plod our way through this world. It is important to be more conscious of each moment and each step. My offering to you is to be more present and mindful of each step. This is not possible for most of us BUT just raising your consciousness to considering 1-2% of your steps would be a “Step in the Right Direction.” (Sorry, for this Pun.) However, focusing on a few of the many steps you take each day can pull you in to your body and the present moment in a positive way.

As a stress management trainer and coach, I have shared a technique from Za-Zen which creates more Mindful living. It is simple and effective. If you want to attempt this technique to trigger a more mindful and relaxed life then follow this instruction a couple of times per day over a few of your busy days. First, consider your “intent” to be more mindful. Stop and take three slow deep breaths. Focus on the cool air as you inhale, then pause for a moment, and exhale fully and completely. Perhaps you can notice the warm air that you exhale. After those three breaths continue breathing slowly. Then begin walking, a bit more slowly than you normally walk. This control of your pace can assist you to get present. Now, as you walk more slowly and carefully, or “Mindfully,” feel your foot as it touches down. Does your toe hit first? Or, does your heel touch first? Roll your foot down into a complete step and repeat this for 20-30 steps. To consider 20-30 slowed steps requires a little time but can change your conscious consideration of the pace you “normally” live at.

As you practice this technique, notice how this allows you to feel. More in control of your body and your life? More present in this moment? More aware of your tight shoulders or jaw or forehead? Consider just “letting go” of judgement and allow yourself to “feel” who you are at this moment in time… This simple, but powerful, awareness technique can have profound benefit for you. Challenge yourself to give this a try and then consider how this can impact the rest of your day, your attitude toward your life, and the life that you have allowed to slip below your consciousness. You may even be amused as you watch other people as they scurry, busily through their lives. Wow, you are leaping into a consciousness that can assist you with your empathy and your “being in the moment” in a new way.

This only takes a few moments from your “busy” day. However, it will expand your control over your life and even your thoughts. Focus on a slow and more conscious breath as you stroll through your day and even find the joy of living in your present body. You are a Blessing!

Jumping in to the River of Life

Are YOU ready for an Adventure? Well, whether you are ready or not, you have chosen to “Jump In!” Perhaps now, more than ever before, it is time to don your safety helmut (or not…) and feel the flow. Recently, I described my life at the start of the New Year, 2020, by describing the sense that I have jumped in to the “rapids of the River of Life!” Yup, I am swirling around and rushing down stream in the exciting life choices I have created. This is NOT just my situation. No, YOU are flailing away with me as we get swept down stream in an adventure of a lifetime.

If you read the most recent past blog, you might realize that the start of 2020 portends something a bit different. Guidance indicates that we are coming to the end of the period of life’s struggles and finding the beginning of the new age of Magic. Maybe it is not new, but a return to the Magic which our ancestors may have known. Technology has “masked” the magic and connections with the Divine Spirit, our hearts and souls. We have been drinking from the chalice of “rational thought” and ego driven lifestyle choices… You can argue with me about this but this is not the point of this channeled blog.

It is time to learn, or relearn, to flow with the currents. It is time to accept the consciousness and the guidance that is coming our way. These are exciting times. Times filled with expanded consciousness and spiritual growth. JUMP in and prepare for the ride of your life! (Fighting with the current is a great way to learn from painful and challenging lessons, but remember, it was YOUR choice to jump into these rapids.) You made the choice to come back to this human incarnation to experience the challenges of the three dimensional realms, and the limitations, of human existence. There is “Joy” to be found in these travails… As I said earlier, the next few months of the year 2020 seems to include an easing of the life tests we have been struggling to learn from. IF we begin to quiet our ego driven, conscious minds, we can sense and then feel the wisdom which guidance is providing. We can work to detach from the wild circus that our fear and anxiety driven lives have so substantially provided for us in the recent times.

If YOU choose, you can awaken to the magic. You can remember how powerful you are. You can bask in the Divine Wisdom which is found within our soul and Know Your Divinity! Remember that You are greater than your ego driven fears and insecurity allows you to believe. You are Amazing! You are a Miracle! To more fully Know your potential, you can quiet your mind through meditation, or peaceful music, or a gentle walk in nature, or slowing and quieting through massage or after love making and then connect with the “feelings” of your inner guidance.

Your adventure has picked up speed. The River of Life is flowing more rapidly. You can struggle or you can let go and flow… You can be swept along in the Magic with the assistance of your guidance and travel more quickly in the higher consciousness you have come to this life to seek. Relax and stay afloat as you careen through this new age and trust your inner child as it finds the fun and joy of the increased Magic! Your soul and spirit are light and buoyant as you navigate this amazing and beautiful life! The River of Life has smoothed many of the bumps along your way, but it helps to gracefully float closer to the surface…
