Perspective: Revisited

Viewing Life from Higher or Lower Places

On a recent trip to Bryce Canyon and Sedona, I awoke one evening and considered my travels and the perspective which I found most attractive. In reviewing my photographs taken on this trip, I found that my favorites were photos taken from a higher perspective. The ones I considered the most expansive were the photos taken from on top of the cliffs I visited. The openness of the sky and the incredible perspective of viewing a broad range of natural beauty seemed to really speak to me. When I hiked in the canyons, I enjoyed looking up, seeing the rock formations and the effects of the carving by rivers, winds, and glaciers, AND, this perspective was amazing as well. Natural beauty is a Divine gift to appreciate and to experience. The “overlooks” were the ones I found I wanted to photograph and to share the most.

What does this say about my perspective? Is taking a broader view more appealing to me for a reason or just an unconscious aesthetic attraction? Expansive views of bright blue skies and red rock cliffs were very seductive to for me on these travels. My appreciation is not unique. There were plenty of other travelers enjoying these overlooks and views. An appreciation also now considers that the roads to these overviews were created by people driven to share these amazing sights. These builders put so much effort into building these roads and trails which lead the way to this higher perspective of the natural beauties in our world. What drove these engineers and builders to work so hard in these challenging physical environments for the sake of pilgrims on the road?

Overlooking the Earth’s treasures from higher perspective adds so much to an appreciation for our lives which often seemed so locked into lower perspectives. We often find ourselves looking at and living within the valleys of our lives and looking up. There is great beauty to be seen AND we sometimes seem required to gain the higher perspective and to experience the broader perspective possible…

A “Higher Perspective” is also a metaphor which applies to the way we think and feel. “Taking the High Road” is an expression which suggests that one does not get caught in a lower perspective which may include anger, fear, anxiety and is often more narrow or even self-centered in focus. Is “Higher” always better? This may depend upon the challenge and learning in life that is being experienced. I have learned more from my mistakes and the hard times in my life than when things seemed easy and rolling along in a seemingly positive successful way. In this perspective, I could say that the low times and the valleys of my life offered important lessons and experiences which allowed me to better appreciate the “happier” times. We all need diverse perspectives in our lives.

An example from a hike near Sedona, AZ to the top of Doe Mesa.

Your perspective changes as you move along your path through life. Early on, your perspective includes “Wonderment” for everything is new and special in your young expanding consciousness. In adolescence, you fight to be in control of your life, even if you are not quite ready to take on this responsibility. Later, as an adult, you may overlook the miracles which present themselves because you are so busy doing seemingly “important” things and you have “done stuff” so you may be jaded. But, often you will come around again to the perspective of Wonderment, where life again is filled with amazing and unique experiences. If you are not consciously developing consciousness then as you approach the end of your current incarnation you live in fear and anxiety or maybe “find religion” so you can satisfy your need for unknowable answers which are lacking when you are consciously unconscious. Wow, perspective at this time allows for very different worldly lessons and experiences. Again, looking up from life’s canyons versus looking out from a “higher perspective.”

Your life is full of choices. Your number one choice is to take responsibility for your life. You can live from the perspective of being a victim. These lessons are interesting and may be of service to the other people you interact with however, you can more freely steer your own ship if you understand, appreciate and move forward as the responsible leader of your life’s experiences. Learn from the darker times and share your learned wisdoms. ALWAYS look to serve. Coming from the perspective of looking to serve, without “strings attached,” is a huge step toward living in a state of higher consciousness. A Higher Perspective for sure…

And, living in darkness, under a rock, as a victim, or controlled by addictions to the dramas of your life is a spectacular way to test your learned or remembered wisdoms. Your interactions will feed off the human dramas we have come into the human life to experience. You may have agreed to assist other souls with their lessons. You may be testing to refine your own past life transgressions or possibly the issues of your ancestors. There is no past or future, but the human mind may understand things in a linear way with its limitations of the three dimensional perspective, so, past ancestors’ issues may seem to exist for you to attempt to “clean up.” Lots to consider and very far afield in this posting.

Whatever you choose to use as your perspective in life, it is PERFECT! You are where you are supposed to be… And, at some point, at any point, you can choose to view life, and live life, from a different perspective…
And, whether you know it or not, YOU are a Miracle! Thank you for being you…

Connections

Interacting with fellow pilgrims you meet on the road through this life is important for you and an act of service to the souls you connect with on your path. If you are most conscious, every soul you pass is there for a reason. Their soul is perfect even if you allow your mind/ego to have “buttons pushed” by something about this person. Perhaps the greater reaction you have, whether in Joy or in seeming annoyance, the greater the awareness you can follow into a lesson which is there for you to learn from or for you to be involved within to be of service.

Do NOT miss the opportunity to reach out and to connect.

Any interaction is an opportunity to test your new consciousness and to gain further perspective on what is possible. Any, and every, interaction may create the spreading waves of love in spirit which can wash across our Universe, and beyond. Your most positive energy, that of unconditional love, when shared in interaction, can assist in creating greater consciousness and greater Divine change.

Most every human requires connection to other people or organizations or the greater natural world. This “need” is for support and to expand perspective. We can “feed” off the energy of passion we find in connecting with another soul. We also benefit from being the witness to another person’s story as a service to them and as a consciousness raising tool in our act of witnessing. Learning to listen and to ask open ended questions is a most useful skill and demonstrates that we have expanded beyond the need for controlling conversation and a need to be the center of attention. And, this is a skill many of us could better demonstrate. Remember the times and interactions you have had where you feel like you were really “heard.” A conversation where you are NOT interrupted by someone else’s drama or need to control the conversation can seem like the support we craved in sharing our story. “No man is an island…” and the human incarnations are set up to help us “test” our new skills and to share our newly conscious wisdoms. Obviously, we can not do this without connecting with other pilgrims.

Many of us lack great social skills or the ability to offer clear communication. This then becomes a lesson in patience, acceptance, and empathy. Wow, there is so much to learn from practicing communication in the limited 3 dimensional human world. (Words, especially in English, are limited when sharing the feelings we experience which are so key to our spiritual development.) Working to perfect these skills is a major part of our spiritual development. Those often awkward interactions can be beneficial, so pay attention when you feel like walking away too easily, there may be an important lesson you can experience. And, there are times when walking away sooner rather than later is also a great and necessary skill. Setting limits and not getting caught in the circling eddy of non-productive rehashing of a “story” can be required to keep moving forward. If you have heard the same story over and over again from certain people, they are not completed with their drama or have found a useful technique to continue receiving attention but this may not be your ongoing lesson except for limit setting and to realize that not everyone can be talked out of their specific drama.

Guidance has reminded me that interacting with other souls is why we are in our human incarnations with the human limitations as our test. So, do not miss any opportunity to attempt connecting and be most conscious of what YOU can learn from your interactions. Less Judgement, more Empathy and Unconditional Loving Acceptance can be the goal to move toward… Boy, I have So Much to learn and my habit of impatience is my constant companion. Well, no one told me that this pilgrimage toward Enlightenment was going to be direct or easy…

Whether you know it or not, YOU are a Master of the life you are living. Sharing your wisdom from learned experience is a major reason you have come into this life. Interacting with other pilgrims is why you are here. And, you are so important as a witness to another soul’s sharing of their story. Both sides can learn from these shared experiences.

With all this said, remember, YOU are Perfect in who you are and the role that you fill. Yes, even with your seeming imperfections. In fact, YOU are a Blessing and a Miracle! Thank you for being YOU!

Whether you know this, or not, YOU are Loved and an important piece of the Divine Spirit!

Your Royal Crown

Do you have a Crown? And, what do crowns do? Trick questions for the normal person who has consciousness regarding their spiritual growth and development. Royalty and Monarchs often try to set themselves apart, and above, other people by wearing jewel encrusted crowns for a symbolical adornment. But, we all have Crown Chakras and connections to the Divine!

Wikipedia offers some information regarding Crowns:
Crowns and Spiritual Symbolism

“Crown is a symbolic headgear that is worn by a monarch. Crown represents power, glory, immortality, royalty and sovereignty. It is often made from precious metals and decorated with jewels. Having a special headgear that will designate a ruler exists in many civilizations around the world.”

Crown: “That a crown represented Divine good from which is Divine truth, is evident from the crowns of kings; for kings represented the Lord in respect to DivineĀ … ??? (I did NOT write this stuff and I am not at all sure about Kings or Queens representing my concept of the Divine Source…)”

Other sources which I have read claim that Crowns which are often made of precious metals and Jewels perhaps which can help to channel Divine wisdom to Monarchs/Rulers to assist them in making better decisions or to connect them most directly with Divine sources. Many spiritual teachers offer their wisdom and experience with “opening” your “Crown Chakra” to better connect with the Divine Spirit. Crystals and certain metals and minerals may also enhance these connections. Are these necessary? No. But, any tool to assist in better focusing can prove useful. Do Kings and Queens make good decisions because they have access to special Crowns? Not always, is my belief.

This whole discussion comes up for me because my Guidance suggested that Crowns, real or imaginary, may have historical symbolism in connecting the person wearing this head covering toward a more efficient connection to “Source” (Divine Spirit.) We all have Crown Chakras AND we are all connected to the higher realms. The degree to which we focus on our connection to Source and the practice of meditating to be most “present,” is the practice which can assist us in improving our intuitive link to the Divine. (Our “Knowing” and our “Remembering” our Divine connection with the “Source” and from where we have come and to where we return…)

You may have your own opinion on this. Or, perhaps you have never considered this Crown thing… Before today, I had never wondered about physical, jewel encrusted crowns as a focusing tool for Divine wisdom. But, now I ponder this. Certainly, keeping a clear and open channel to the Divine Spirit is a useful endeavor when you are not too muddled by life’s dramas. Your awareness and your spiritual consciousness is always worth the effort of expanding. But, do not limit yourself if you do not own or wear a crown or jewel encrusted tiara. YOU are still Royalty and connected to the Divine Source.

Also, along these lines, have you ever looked at artwork which suggests halos around spiritual beings? Well, does this symbolically represent a crown of spiritual energy circling the crown chakra? If we could see halos, would every soul you pass on your travels have one??? Ask yourself and search for these halos. You might be surprised to find an energy vortex over the people you see and not expect… Wherever possible, polish your halo with meditations and good deeds. Keep your channel to the Divine open and learn to feel and trust your intuitive connection to Divine Wisdom.

For your consideration. Imagine that you have a jewel or crystal embedded crown (or hat) which will intensify and focus any, and all, Divine Wisdom in through the Crown of your head. Now, feel the wisdom in your heart. Trust this gift of guidance. Allow your heart and soul to bask in Joy. Be aware of all the Divine Miracles which touch your life, everyday. See if this changes your perspective even when you are living through major challenges.

Answer: Do you have a Crown? Well, Yes, you do. Honor your Crown Chakra and this portal as a wonderful connection to the Divine Spirit and the Higher Realms.

YOU are a Blessing! Your life is an amazing pilgrimage and your goal is to serve other souls as you move along your path toward higher consciousness!

Next Steps Toward Enlightenment

What are YOU working on to increase your consciousness and to move down your path toward “Enlightenment?” Creating a Plan is a great way to improve your focused direction. You will need to consider your own specific challenges and then build a program/plan to assist you in moving forward. Or, you can also just stumble down your path and you will get to where you are supposed to get to with a few possible side trips. Either way, You are a Miracle and your travels will be amazing… (Not always easy or direct but amazing…)

My list includes these possible considerations. These are not necessarily in a specific order of importance. You are free to consider which of these may apply to your program…
So, consider:

1.) Be Present (lessen my emotional reaction to live in the Past or in the Future)
2.) Find Equanimity first (before my knee-jerk reaction of frustration and anger) This is not easy for me and my habitual responses.
3.) Live in Allowance… Accept more, push less (Attempt to Not Try to Figure it ALL Out. Observe and learn.)
4.) Beam Unconditional Love
5.) Less Judgement and More Acceptance & Compassion
6.) More fully remember my Spiritual Power, beyond my Human limitations
7.) Listen with Love and Empathy
8.) Embrace the Miracle of Life, Appreciation!
9.) Bask in Joy (even if you have to look under some dark, scary rocks to find it)
10.) Express Gratitude (Thank You!)
11.) Celebrate each interaction with other souls as my current lesson.
Live in the Spirit of “Namaste”
12.) Give unconditionally and support my fellow pilgrims
13.) Live in Wonderment and Amazement (Beginner’s Mind)
14.) Channel Love and Healing
15.) Know that life (Human incarnation) is a state of Impermanence
(Life is temporary and so are all the challenges…)
AND, finally…
16.) We are all Interconnected, so show Love and Respect for Fellow Pilgrims

My hope is that this brief posting offers a chance to consider plotting a good direction for you to move in. I am sure that there will be necessary steps for me to add or to evolve my focus upon as I move forward, so I am not etching this particular list into stone.

No matter what else crosses your consciousness maintain your channel with the Divine Spirit. Obviously, keep this open and available… So, learn to trust, or at least hear/feel your intuition.

Along the way, celebrate all your travels down life’s path. Remember that it IS the experience of these travels and Not the destination which will offer you the wealth of life experience… When possible, remember to look up to the horizon (and not just down on your footsteps). Look for wisdom and Joy to grow out of your “Wonderment.” (Be surprised by the unlikely interactions which may hold the most unexpected learnings…)

Travel well. And where possible, be the beacon of light for the fellow souls you encounter along your path… We are all in this together.
YOU are a Miracle!

Unique Spiritual Signature

My recent experience with sending unconditional Love and healing energy to friend has triggered more learning for me through Guidance. In the recent blog posting regarding keeping your channel open, I was given the gift from my guidance that as we offer healing energy the transmitted energy has a unique spiritual signature. As if, the loving energy we send out has some of our spiritual DNA attached. Guidance celebrates when we give our specific energy to a person or when we randomly send this offering out into the Universe and it is marked by your uniqueness. All loving energy you consciously or unconsciously send out has your DNA signature added automatically. (Thank you for your unique contributions…)

My mentor, Don Ley, has said many times, after returning from his NDE, that we as humans do not realize how powerful and amazing we are. Our egos and our 3 dimensional thinking, pretends that we are smaller than we actually are. This may be used to pretend to keep us “safe” as if we were inconsequential and not worthy of the spotlight. Don Ley and other conscious teachers remind us that we are all connected to the Divine Spirit and that we are essential to all of higher consciousness. The “Divine” notices and in an accepting and neutral way, witnesses every action and every interaction which we participate within. Yes, even if we do not consciously know or fully understand. Our sharing of stories, our wisdom, and our energy is noticed and supported by the Divine.

When you pray for the “greater good” and Universal healing, this intentional energy spreads out in every direction like ripples on the surface of an endless pond. Your intentional healing thought and energy travels to the end of the Universe AND it carries your Unique Spiritual Signature. Every thought and action has a purpose. It flows out to create waves which wash across the vastness of the physical world and the Higher Realms. When you send unconditional Love and Healing all of consciousness is bathed in the positive energy. It then raises all Universal consciousness to some degree. Thank You!

So celebrate your power and your energetic gifts as they flow out to support all consciousness. Now, you can think yourself “small” and argue with me. You can ask me to prove this concept to you. But your mind and your ego will NEVER understand how important you and your contributions are to the Higher Realms. Your mind is 3 dimensional and wired to have limitations of time and space which are not limited to you when you are floating in the higher realms. Your body is a great communication device in your miraculous human life drama. Your drama and your lessons are used to experience challenges and work through these human scenarios.

You are important and essential to all consciousness. You can be aware and hold yourself responsible mentally for your actions or you can enjoy the dark corners which you be hiding out within. Either way, YOU are a Miracle! You are Perfect! You are a Blessing! And, YOU are unconditionally Loved!!!

When possible, send your Love and energy with your Unique Spiritual Signature out for all consciousness to bask in your light. Thank You, in advance…

Are You Conscious?

Are you conscious regarding your soul’s full strength and capacities?

Can our Individualism which separates us from our fellow pilgrims be standing in our way as we attempt to move into Higher Consciousness? Oneness and connectedness are underlining principles of the Higher Realms. Our beyond human 3D existence, Higher Realm Souls, are in conflict with people identifying as “Rugged Individualists.” Our belief that we have “constitutional rights” to be guided by our individual beliefs, at the expense of the the Universal Spirit, run contrary to what I believe is Enlightenment. When we are taught (or adopt the attitude) that we have to “pull ourselves up by our bootstraps” (whatever that means) people assume that we are in life to get ahead without other people’s support for our own greedy expectations. Sure we have the “self-made men” (sexist concept) in our glorified history but should these selfish figures be our role-models?

Other figures like: Jesus, Mahatma Gandhi, Buddha, and Nelson Mandala may be a few of the more commonly known and revered examples of leaderships with a closer connection to the Divine Spirit. It is my understanding, without having personal relationships with these people, that their model was selfless and above and beyond the “driven” business and political leaders we celebrate these days. Perhaps our culture and world has less well known, and not attention grabbing, leaders who are working to create consciousness at lesser levels in the modern world. And yes, we do have self-made men giving their wealth away to charitable causes like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and many celebrities. But, maybe too few of the greedy 1% wealthy (Self-Made Men) engage in giving as the role models we need as positive examples.

Until we can sincerely respect other souls and be prepared to support the Universal Divine’s theme of oneness and interconnection, we are trapped in our human dramas with its cultural need for separation. To “get ahead” as an individual at the expense of others is the epitome of human selfishness and the necessary lesson for higher consciousness we struggle with too commonly in our world.

This may sound like “sour grapes” thinking to wealth seeking individuals, however, the expression “wealth does not buy you happiness” has truth to it. I grew up in a wealthy Southern California community. Before I left town at the age of 19, my emotional perception was that the newly made wealth seekers were not happy. In fact, they were anxious and self-medicated (alcohol and drugs) to maintain their unhappiness and to deal with their paranoia/fear regarding losing their material possessions. At the time, and still true for me today, I did not fit in with these cultural beliefs and this shallow attempt to appear successful in life… Wealthy people can be happy and conscious but their driven need to pursue wealth and power does NOT translate into their happiness, Joy, or higher spiritual consciousness, easily.

Buying your way into heaven is a myth. Jumping to the head of the line does not get you into heaven easier or sooner. Cutting corners by buying people off does not earn you respect or truly loyal relationships. Cultures and societies which honor and allow corruption as a means of getting ahead are morally bankrupt and weaken their longevity. But, these are all my “Judgements” regarding corruption because I know that there are important lessons, if only what not to do, for the human dramas our Earthly existence thrives upon. In the telling of the story regarding Buddha, he started life as wealthy and privileged but renounced this life style to gain his consciousness through hardships and a devout life. In my understanding of this story, Buddha gave up on on the punishing rigors of devout spiritual life for a more normal meditation practice. He found happiness and life satisfaction in the “simple” life as a man who ferries people across a river. This finally lead him to his Enlightenment. Is this a myth to keep less fortunate people from rebelling against the 1%? Or, do the “trappings” of wealth and privilege distract the consciousness seeker from Divine Consciousness?
A great question… YOU need to seek the answer for yourself. It is your lesson.

For me, a more simple life has been helpful. Dealing with shallowness and envy has been a part of my challenge. Consciously chasing wealth and power has not been my path. And, humility has been a striving in my life… We are not as special as we want to think we are in our human lives. But, we are most uniquely special in our spirits. And, we are all in this together. We are here to support one another’s pilgrimage to Divine Consciousness. When will YOU realize that your greatest wealth is in your connection with the Divine and all other souls? When will you know or remember your true power in spirit? Consciousness includes learning that our flaws and insecurities are the challenges we are here to learn from and accept.

As you can assume from this blog, my personal pursuit is to better understand and control my “Judgements” especially of people I perceive as pursuing the passion of wealth hoarding and the gathering of material possessions. For me, caring about our fellow souls and protecting our miraculous planet hold more importance, and respect, than gathering material trappings of wealth. You may share this lesson or feel that your path is in conflict with mine. Hopefully, we will still find ways to love and support each other’s spiritual development.

YOU are so much more than your human existence. The perfection of your soul underlies the dramas and judgements we tend to engage… At the end of this incarnation, we will both be basking in the love and light of the Higher Realms…

I ask you to consider rebuking “Fear” as your motivation and consider Love and Acceptance as your foundational core for finding your motivation in your current incarnation. Yup, try it on! Along the way, release your self-victim status and honor the true power of your perfect soul and spirit! And, Wake Up to your true self and full consciousness beyond our human dramas and self-limitations.

You are a Miracle! You are Loved for who you are. No one can do YOU better than you and you serve a purpose as you travel the path toward higher consciousness…

Everything is Neutral!

We are so conditioned. We can not see the forest from the trees. We actually think that the dramas we have in our lives are important. And, we have our “stories” which are often fear based and made up in our minds. As we gain in consciousness and move toward Enlightenment, we can clear our minds of Judgements. We can “empty the basket.” When we are most conscious, we can be in wonderment without (or at least less) of a “story.” If we can let go of our “attachment” to separation and ego thinking, we can ask “What would Love do now?”

How can we find our way into Gratitude and service through Generosity? Allow Team Love and Team Light to shine most brightly in each moment and in every interaction. Can we be like “Nellie” (the puppy,) who happily wags her tail at every person she meets. She is Pure Love and Sharing her Joy! Can we stop believing in our “story” and remember who we really are, a perfect Soul? Can we ask each person whom we interact with, “What have you come here to teach me?”

Fear and ego separation are the survival tools humans commonly use as we move through the 3 dimensional Earthly world. This is great for creating: drama, “our stories,” and our challenging lessons. Ultimately, we remember where in the Divine we have come from AND how powerful we are as Spirit. We remember that we are ALL One with the Universe (and beyond in the higher realms) and we take responsibility for the difficult lessons we have come to our human incarnation to experience. The energy of Love is at the core of the Divine Spirit. We, as spirit, are recognized for choosing to come to the Earthly plane to live the human dramas as lessons and for teaching other souls who have incarnated. The Divine Love is with us and supports our various projects in moving along the path toward higher consciousness. (This benefits all consciousness…)

If you “Know” and “Remember” these precepts, you are less attached to the dramas we experience and realize that these dramas are all neutral. Neither good or bad! Just maintaining our Equanimity as we proceed through these challenges reflects the highest (sorry, a judgement) level of enlightenment as we recognize the service we are proving in these lessons, for all participants, who, by the way, are simply a different form of ourselves… As our human consciousness develops we can remember more about our spirit’s life in the Higher Realms and can Know how powerful we are as Spirit.

This is a lot to consider. It does not always help to know that our human minds have severe limitations being based in a 3 dimensional world. We have come to our incarnations to have this “veil” thrown over our Spirit’s higher realm abilities. This makes our dramas seem so much more “real” to us and so our lessons become tests to learn from. Yup, shedding these limitations happens after we transition out of our incarnations. (As my transitioned wife told me through a psychic, “I am in a “better place,” which is bigger and better than you could ever imagine!” Beyond human comprehension… and, this was an answer to my daily prayers, since her passing, “I hope you are in a better place.” Though I “Knew” she was in the higher realms.)

Our lives are filled with challenges and events we label as important or difficult or Joyful. In Divine reality of spirit, these are all neutral but it helps to look for the “Joy” in the learning of each of our lessons… This is the Wisdom we can share and carry forward in the raising of our consciousness.

No matter where you are on your human journey, YOU are a Miracle! Thank you for being you.

I Love YOU! No Matter What

It is so easy for ME to know love and share love. My love is infinite! My love comes not from a hidden reserve or personal treasure. It comes from me knowing that we are all one, connected and a piece of each other’s spirit. Even if you “trigger me,” I can often find love for you even if I do not like or understand your behavior. When I am in MY drama, I sometimes do not have the heart space and love, as strongly… YOU are a Miracle. You are perfect! And, the drama of our human lives I feel is a lesson for me to learn from. Thank You!

My love, Our Love, comes from the Wellsprings of the Divine Spirit which we all have at our core. This “Love” is the Divine Unconditional Love. You can ignore it or deny it, but it is still there. You have control over how conscious you are about Love and how you choose to demonstrate this Love through your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. To live most fully in this consciousness is what we all strive for in “Enlightenment.” Easier said than done. And, a great goal to move toward at a more fully conscious level.

Everyone one of us is unique. The way we live our lives and express our love is different. Regardless of the vast differences we demonstrate, we are all connected and spiritually inter-woven. In a STE (Spiritually Transformative Experience) I had when I was 23 years old, I found myself, in meditation, sitting by the “River of Life.” The waters were golden. The waters were flowing slowly from my right to my left, downstream toward the golden ocean. I “knew” the story. The waters from the golden ocean would evaporate drifting into golden clouds. The Clouds would rain down high up in the mountains and small streams would gather into the great golden river of life. I “knew” I was but a molecule of water flowing downstream, “connected” to all other spirits/souls. I “knew” (or remembered) that I could never be alone. I was a part of the Divine Spirit in all other souls/molecules as we flowed through our dramas and lives back down to the ocean. For me, this was emotional. Tears came to my eyes. Tears of Joy! Tears of connection and Love! (YouTube video of this River of Life story.)

As I plod through my current life, this feeling of “connection” is NOT always on the forefront of my thoughts or consciousness but it is there lurking deep within. In moments this bubbles up into my waking, consciousness and I celebrate the other souls I bump into. It is in these few moments I see, I Know, the perfection of the person in front of me. We are all Miracles. We are all Connected. We are here, in this current life, to share lessons which can be difficult, for the betterment of all involved. Even in, or especially within, the angry interactions we struggle with there are major learnings and tests for our human lives to participate within and to learn from. These dramas are what we are here, in our current incarnations, to learn from and to experience.

So, in this moment, in my higher state of spiritual consciousness, I want you to know, “I Love You!” Even if we both acknowledge our imperfections and seeming flaws. You are perfect. You are here to teach me a lesson which will benefit me and the souls I will bump into in my future in this present incarnation. YOU are a Miracle. My soul bows lovingly to the perfect spirit within you. Now, focus and drive the speed limit or get out of my way, but thank you for this lesson in patience and in being most “present.” (Sorry, my humor comes through after being so serious for this long…) Find laughter and Joy whenever and wherever you are… When I am most conscious, “I Love You, No matter What…”

(BTW: Divine Unconditional Love is different than human romantic love (which is conditional.) Human ego and mental understanding is mostly limited to a three dimensional thinking which limitations include the belief that time and space are linear. Words can not do full justice to Divine Unconditional Love and the human mind is not conscious enough to “understand” the feelings which are Divine Love. As a simplistic example, find words which fully describe the smell of a rose and you can experience the limitations of finding words or most fully mentally understanding a feeling/sensation.)

You are a Blessing! Thank you for being you.

After-thought. The first lines of this post are: “It is so easy for ME to know love and share love. My love is infinite! My love comes not from a hidden reserve or personal treasure. It comes from me knowing that we are all one, connected and a piece of each other’s spirit.” Upon reflection, a “knowing” bubbled up for me. The “ME” is the Divine within me. WE are all the Divine. We are all the source of unconditional love in our higher Spirit selves. We are all Masters even if we are “playing it small” in our human lives so we can feel like we do not have complete control so our “drama” is enhanced. I am the Christ… YOU are the Christ! Thank you for being the Blessing you are in my human life…

Stepping In, Stepping Out

Consider, Stepping In to the Present Moment and then Stepping Out of Your Limitations… Of course, this is easier said than done. However, setting your sights on what is possible and setting your intention is the first step of this pilgrimage.

Stepping into the present moment leads to Mindfulness. If you can release the 3 dimensional mind’s limitations, including time and space, you can begin to release the memories of the past which have limited your responses and you may be able to release the fear of the unknown future which fear of future events/change has trapped our consciousness within. Our brain and ego have these limitations which have created separateness and the lack of knowing our soul’s greatness.

What is Mindfulness? List of 10 Qualities of Mindfulness are:
These are from Pages 18-20 of Laurie Cameron’s book: “The Mindful Day, Practical Ways to Find Focus, Calm and Joy From Morning to Evening.” (The-Mindful-Day by Laurie-J-Cameron )

1. Awareness
2. Beginners Mind
3. Acceptance
4. Insight
5. Impermanence (Life is temporary and so are all the challenges…)
6. Equanimity
7. Interconnection
8. Compassion
9. Gratitude
10. Joy

Stepping most fully into the Present Moment, involves all of these ten qualities. Again, easier said than done and this is a perspective to move toward. Acceptance without Judgement has been my challenging lesson in this life. Living without full Acceptance (and the lack of Judgement,) seems to limit my Compassion, my Gratitude, and my Joy. Staying within my breath with an accepting awareness is my goal.

My “Knowing” suggests that once I can fully step into the Moment, I will begin to release my limitations of the my 3 dimensional world (and thoughts and limiting beliefs) so I can be most fully free to “Know” the Divine Spirit and dwell consciously in a higher state of consciousness. Included in this “Knowing” is that in a Higher vibrational state my life finds: unconditional Love, full connection, access to Divine Wisdom, and freedom from human limitations, is possible.

Consider what it is like to live consciously without limitations. To be everywhere with no limitations of time and space. To bask in “Oneness” and to know “Unconditional Love.” Yes, even if you are in a Human existence, you can gradually find ways to connect and then to live in this higher state of consciousness. Once there, or even before you most fully get to this consciousness, your purpose is to share this light and to be the beacon which allows other pilgrims to find their way into this Divine Light.

I have been reminded: We are ethereal beings living lives in human bodies “enjoying” our human experiences… Knowing that we will be stepping out of these lives and our human limitations, offers us a profound perspective to consider. With Love.

As the Days Blend Together

These are unusual times. During this pandemic, we are more than “normally” (and what is the new normal) confined to our homes and our thoughts. If you have managed to create a new lifestyle around the social distancing and home confinement, you may have even reduced your TV and Social media time for anxiety control. You may have found the Days of each week Blending Together. You may not even remember what day it is or what the date is for today. Perhaps this is even important. Perhaps being present and reflective is a survival technique which may lead to a new state of “Pandemic Enlightenment”…

Increased awareness and spiritual insights are often born out of difficult challenges. SO, get busy…!!! Discover YOUR lesson and its Wisdom… AND, once you discover your new insight find the best ways to share your new wisdom. This whole lifestyle adjustment is more than:
hand washing to an extreme,
wearing a mask which prevents smiling at people,
reducing your showers or clothes changing because you are not going out,
side-stepping people you pass in public,
food shopping for safety at 7:00 AM,
knowing how to stand 6+ feet apart as you wait for your “take out,”
searching aimlessly for hand sanitizer and clorox wipes (& TP) at Costco,
AND, joining an endless amount of Zoom conference calls to speak with other humans.

These adjustments have caused most of us to behave differently and to think about what we took lightly in the past… Craving a hug or hand shake. Carelessly, hanging out in a social situation with less than 6+ feet between us. Going shopping in a Mall with crowds of anxious, frantic people and loud children. Boy, we miss those days of naive simple consumerism.

But, have you been forced out into nature? Have you had to fill your time in Meditations? Did you find yourself reading a “good” book instead of “binge-watching” bad television/movies? Did you have to call family and friends to check-in? Did you have time to cook your own dinner and breakfast and lunch and snacks, two or three times per day? Sure, social media has filled in your day but didn’t you “CRAVE” hanging out with “real people?” There is an important lesson in this… Besides the necessary hand washing, you have found a new need for connection! Besides complaining and whining, you have actually learned who do you know in your life who can actually listen and respond with empathy.

Besides shopping and “eating out,” there are other ways to connect with friends and family that cost less and may have more value. Caring for other people is the least expensive way of sharing Love! Appreciation and Gratitude also may bubble up in these times of lifestyle change. Perhaps, most important is being more fully “present” in each moment in Nature or with the people we care about. We are all in this together… AND, YOU are a Blessing! Continue to learn and to grow in these times of life challenges… If nothing else, twenty years (or maybe 20 days) from now you will have great survival stories of the 2020 Pandemic and Hand Washing Craze…

Added on these thoughts… (The not so fun parts of our current, 2020, lives.)
(NOW, we have been faced with a new “drama” with demonstrations highlighting the cultural racism which has been “accepted” in our culture too long. White privilege was brought to this hemisphere by the earliest explorers and first settlers. They, and their religious beliefs, thought that they were superior to the indigenous peoples they thought “They Discovered.” Eventually, because they had the guns, they believed that they were the true saviors of this hemisphere however they needed slaves to work their stolen land. It is like this privilege has now been built into white folks’ cultural DNA. Relinquishing power and, perceived control, does not come easily to those folks in “power.” Black Lives Matter! All Lives Matter! However, releasing our old, established habits and patterns is NEVER an easy, though necessary, choice these weird days. Positive change challenges us. It forces us to reassess our established patterns and habits. Perhaps, the first step in a positive direction is to understand and admit “white privilege” exists and also admit that this needs to change for a better world. (Change is NOT easy. Changing our cultural DNA is needed but a difficult, uphill fight…)

AND. We are ALL in this together and one and the same…)
