Change is a constant. Nothing remains the same. Yes, we want things to remain in the familiar but the Universe continues to grow, to expand, and the forces at work create changes. The unknown is scary, or, it is an opportunity. It is unavoidable. Everyday, parts of our ourselves, our physical selves, die or change and new molecules and cells form to move us along our path. Each moment is a new experience. We can attempt to deny it, but we have a new perspective with every step we take. “Please get out of the way, if you can not lend a hand” so each new moment can burst into existence.
We often hold ourselves back with old ways of thinking and our anxiety of adapting to new things. This does not change the process but does add drama to our lives and to the lives of the people we interact with. Sure, we have learned “tried and true” ways of doing things but that does mean that this will fit all the time and into our future life situations.
From a “spiritual” perspective, Time does NOT exist. (This may be a “mind bending” concept, so “strap in” to take in the following concepts most safely…) Time is a fabrication of our “limited” human minds and consciousness. The human brain needs to understand a linear sequence of experiences to orderly track and to compare various moments. In a spiritual understanding, every moment in time exists simultaneously. Yes, even all of our “past lives” are occurring at the same moment, for only the “present” exists. We think that we have a past when in actuality we only have the present moment. And, that is why being most present is so important, but difficult, as an “awakened” human being. When we are free of our three dimensional thinking as souls, we are open, available, and free to be in multiple places at the same moment in our human time. This is very difficult for our limited human consciousness to most fully understand.
This brings us, again, to the concept of learning to fully live in the present moment. Much easier said than done. When we are most conscious, within the limitations of our human incarnation, we “know” the miracles and complexities of every moment, we are consciously aware of in our limited human lives. Something to strive for but difficult for human consciousness to achieve. (It requires that we step outside our 3 dimensional way of thinking about existence…)
So, when we say that the times they are a changing, we are handicapped by human understanding that the concept of Time even exists. When in fact (at a spiritual, soul level) time does NOT exist, only the “present moment” exists. Linear thinking creates the drama that humans live within AND it seems to not allow us to actually learn from the human mistakes which we repeat over and over in our human cultures and human history. Our human lives are temporary and amazing “learning” experiences. We get to test our consciousness and “remembered” wisdom in each moment of “human time.” Yes, until we get it “right.” (Words of judgement used which are easier for human understanding…) When we get it “right,” we have the choice of continuing to incarnate or to spend our consciousness in higher realms, where we will serve on different levels. When asked, the Dalai Lama, as a highly “evolved” human soul, if he would want to return to another human incarnation when his “time” as a human was over. The Dalai Lama replied that he hopes that he can return again to human form so that he can continue to “serve” as an example and teacher to those who he interacts with in human form… (To consider: if you do NOT want to return as a human incarnation, chances are that this assures you that your soul has to return, again and again, until you want to return… And then, you will not “have to….”
YOU are a Miracle! Thank you considering how best to continue raising your human consciousness. YOU are Loved!
