We Are Here to Love!

It is not easy! It is not complicated! We are here to love. To know love and to spread love. Our human lives pretend to honor the drama we create as the useful challenges we have to learn from. But, in the end, our learnings and our challenges are less complicated when seen from the perspective of the “Source.” We are here to serve each soul we bump into on our pilgrimage through this life and we are here to Love…

We want this to be more complicated and seemingly more important! Our egos want us to judge our deeds with relative values which are just constructed by our minds. We want to separate ourselves and to feel more important by comparing our “goodness” or our “successes” with the other people we meet. However, this judgement and separation is a challenge to release. At some point, we remember and then “Know,” that we are all in this together and are all heading in the same direction of being tested by our human dramas and then finding loving acceptance of all the souls in this Universe…

We are all being tested by the dramas we experience in our human existence. Isn’t it great! Difficult, depressing, painful, and challenging, BUT, Great! Our test to remember where we came from, The Divine, and where we will return, if we ever really “left” in the first place… Our goal as we grope toward an Enlightened state is to continue to connect with other pilgrims, know we are all in this together, and Love every spirit we encounter. That is “Enlightenment” and what we seek to carry forward in our human lives. We ARE the Divine, manifested into this human drama… (Not to belittle our struggles and our lives, but, perhaps we can step out of our dramas and imagine that we are looking at, viewing our lives as if we were watching a movie or a TV drama. The characters draw us in to their stories. If the acting is good, we are drawn in to the roles being played and the drama being played out. But, at the end of the movie we have new perspective but we return to our lives… It may serve us better to be slightly removed from the dramas we experience as humans so we can gain perspective without being to sucked in… But, this IS the lesson of our existence…) By “we return to our lives,” I refer to rejoining our spirit lives in the higher realms of the Divine.

AND, the “Love” being suggested is NOT human love with human conditional concerns. True Divine “Unconditional Love” seems to be beyond mental comprehension, and so beyond human definition. Even human love is really undefinable. Words do not do justice to the deepest concept of the emotions and understanding of love. “Divine Love” can not even be felt (well) or described by the human mind (and certainly words in English.) We “Know” Unconditional Love in our spirit and when dwelling in the Higher Realms. (In my personal experience, after returning from a spiritual “awakening” visit to the Higher Realms when visiting Death at the human age of 19 years old, I “remembered’ and felt Unconditional Love but could not clearly feel it when I returned to my human life. Though I “knew” it was available beyond the limitations of my human self. This was a life changing experience for me, which I was gifted.)

With all this said: Find Love. Share Love. Be Love… (You do not need to make excuses or make it more complicated… But, you will… Until, you do not need to…) And, Unconditional Love, Freedom, and Acceptance awaits You in the Higher Realms…

Paula Forget, my mentor and author of the book, “Guided to the Higher Realms,” contributes to this story:
“If I can add as a side, it is easy to Love when you see the Beauty of the Divine in others and in the whole world. It is there in its essence, even in the pain and difficulties, and in the joys and moments of awe.” (BTW: a recent rereading of Paula Forget’s book was the trigger and inspiration for this and many other of my blog postings…)

Relationships

How do you maintain your relationships? How do you maintain your community? No two relationships or communities are the same and yet the “work” of maintaining these social connections has commonalities. If you “care” about these relationships, and often you “should” care, what does the care and feeding look like? The people who you have cross paths with in your life long enough to hear their story can tell a lot about you. The relationships and communities you build, and maintain, speak volumes about you…

For example, if you have called a “friend” do you wait until they return your call (or text or email, etc) before you reach out again? Do they “owe” you something because you contacted them? Or, when next you think of them, do you try again? Not keeping “score” on them owing you a return call… (I mention this because I know a lonelier person who always waited for a return call, feeling hurt or disrespected if a person did not get back to her. But, life can get in the way and not allow immediate responses.)

Relationships and communities are necessary, for most of us, and require some time and attention. They require some level of flexibility because they are rarely perfect or a perfect match to all the unique characteristics you may be carrying around with you, as you. And, sometimes a relationship can include people who may appear as “opposite” to your beliefs simply because these create a wonderful and challenging balance to who you are and what you believe. Do Opposites Attract each other? This perspective may be the essential part of the lesson you have come here, to this life, to learn from. So, no matter what, when you “feel” as if you should reach out, reach out! Chances are your guidance has sent you the message…

A long maintained relationship is not as much a burden as it is a touchstone letting you know from where you have come from and where you are at this moment in time. (Though time is not real, perspective on your life’s experience is…)

People, most people, require community. We require space to reach out and care about others, AND, to let others care about you! It is a cross purpose requirement. It benefits both sides. Sometimes it looks like it is not equal but it is… perhaps not fully known as it may be seen as unequal when it is… (Some people need to “give” more others and some people need to receive more than others.) Consider also, that it is a great gift to receive from another person, especially, when you have difficulty receiving…

And, whenever possible, do a “mitzvah,” a good deed, for another soul. Be available. Be of service with NO strings attached. This is your purpose in this life and the community of our world, our Universe, is better for this act of service. A good deed is not always expensive or time consuming. Sometimes it is simply listening and showing that you really care. Thank you! Share love with reckless abandon, without any unnecessary life-threatening recklessness… Sharing your love freely becomes a bright light to dissipate the darkness…!!! When you do good in the world do not do it because you “have to,” do it because it feels good to know you are living your “true self!” And, do not do good with an expectation of a return. When done purely out of sincere Love, with no strings attached, you are offering our Universe the perfection of connection and relationship.

Now, I invite you to consider the various types of relationships you have. Some are more common but some of us do not share the ones labeled as common, like family. Not all of us have family or significant others as partners. Some of us have many friends and some of us seem to not connect well with others as friends. We have teachers, mentors, ministers, counselors, professional care givers. We have more people in our lives offering remote sources of information or support. Most of us have neighbors, but not everyone connects with their immediate neighborhood community. Even casual relationships with our local businesses or fellow regular exercisers. NOW, ask yourself why did the Universe, the Divine, create the situation where these specific folks are in your life??? What are they to teach you? What are you to teach them? (Yes, even if it is what not to do…)

There are no accidents. And, consider the people you have known for a “long” time. What does this say about you, or them? And, what about the short-term explosions of relationships that did not last or stand the test of a longer time…??? And consider that, “No man is an island, entire of it self, every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main…” wrote John Donne in 1624. What does this mean for you?

You are a Miracle! Thank you for being you.

You Are Unique! You are the Divine!

There is no one else like you! Like a fingerprint or a snowflake, there is no exact copy of the soul that you are. Your role in the great plan of the Universal Divine is specific to you, for you, and imperative to the foundation of the unknowable consciousness called the “Source.” Because you are a foundational piece of all consciousness, you are more important to the “whole” than you are able to fully comprehend.

Your life is important and essential. Your lessons from life’s challenges are necessary for All of Consciousness. You may be aware of your unique set of weaknesses or flaws and from these seeming imperfections, you get to test out from past experience and gained wisdoms to the next steps to take as you grow in awareness and consciousness. If you share your gained wisdom, you serve as a beacon to light the way for the other souls you bump into along your pilgrimage.

If you reflect back on your current life, you can find the successes and the travails of your path. Perhaps, you share your story of your life, and the feedback that you get is that no one else could have done what you did. Perhaps, no one else could have survived the life you have been through. It may be difficult to image how YOU survived, and perhaps, then thrived from the troubling lessons you have engaged. Yes, you are stronger than you might give yourself credit for being. Sure you were “lucky.” But, you were “guided” and “protected” so you could transmute these situations and then be available to share the outcomes and the wisdoms you have discovered from these tests.

If you are like me, you probably learned more from your mistakes or, seeming “failures,” than from the expected successes… I tend to learn more from what I have done wrong than what I have done correctly. For me, the lessons from the difficult life experiences have been most important and most worthy of sharing, if for no other reason, of what NOT to do ever again. These are the treasures of my life. “That which does not kill us, makes us stronger” is attributed to the German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche and delivers wisdom worth sharing. (It also reflects upon our life experience as an affirmation of resilience.)

From readings and discussion of passages from “A Course of Miracles” and “The Way of Mastery,” I reflect upon the importance and value each of us has as a necessary & essential part of the Divine Spirit. Though we self-limit ourselves, we are are more powerful than our egos allow ourselves to believe. We can protect ourselves from taking full responsibility for our current lives by “playing it small.” When actually, we are all connected and essential. We are all a part of the larger “One.” As we move toward greater awareness and consciousness we are playing our role toward developing all of Divine Consciousness! No standing in the shadows of greatness, YOU are the greatness. You are amazing and so important!

To illustrate your value, consider your life as if it were one single muscle cell in the heart. Obviously, the heart is essential. The miracle of the beating heart sending blood with oxygen and nutrients to every other cell of the body makes the heart and every muscle cell of the heart, important. If the muscle was damaged, the effect upon the body can be lethal as when a heart attack occurs. AND, this heart muscle can not exist without all the other cells of the body doing their miraculous work. The brain, the blood cells, the lungs, the digestive organs, the glands, the muscles and bones, the liver and kidneys, etc, are all doing their most essential part to keep you, the heart muscle moving along. Your unique, but essential, piece of the Divine Spirit is similar. The Divine Spirit can not exist without your soul doing its essential part.

Sure, you can argue with me. You can be in denial. It is easier for you to play it small and not be responsible. But, it does not change the ultimate truth that you are unique, essential, and so important for your role in the Divine Spirit!

Dance like no one is watching! Live like this will be your very last day… No regrets, you are perfect and so accept those flaws and imperfections which make you unique…

Follow your “Heart.” What your soul “knows” or “remembers” regarding your role in the Divine Spirit is more important than what you “think” based on cultural expectations. Be who you were meant to be, a Master in service of all the souls you bump into. Be the beacon of light to lead and support your fellow pilgrims on the path toward higher consciousness. You will remember, at some point, how important you are to the Divine Spirit, and how unconditionally loved you truly are.

In the Afternoon of My Life

Maybe it is the Late Afternoon of my life. Soon I will be entering the Eighth decade of my life. Quite frankly, I never thought I’d be around this long. It never occurred to me to consider this aging process and what my role as an elder is all about. For me, on the inside, I still consider myself to be young. At least younger than that stranger looking back at me in the mirror.

My friend, in his 50’s, Rodger, told me that “we are in the “afternoon” of our lives,” it caused me to pause and consider these words. Then, as if to correct himself he added, “Or, perhaps, we are are in the “late afternoon” of our lives…” to better include my current level of ancientness. And Yes, this did add entertainment to my consideration of this dilemma. Ok, when do you hit “evening” or late night TV of your life?

Question: Do I want to be old? NO! Do I want to act my age? NO! Do I want to even consider decrepitude? NO, NO, NO! Do I accept myself and the process of aging? With a struggle, Yes and, not really…

AND, what’s my role in this drama? I am a father. I am a grandfather. I am a brother, a lover, a friend, a mensch, a clown, a writer, a teacher, and a healer. And, I am so much more. None of these labels are adequate to define my role. I am a human living in privilege living in North America who occasionally struggles with cultural expectation of who I am and where I am “supposed” to be at this later stage of this life… (Societal expectations based on what culture suggests has never been my strong suit. I have always felt like I am “outsider” looking in and, with pride, in my oppositional opinions and actions…)

Do I care about the future? Well, yes, but differently than I expected. My youthful optimism is reduced, mostly due to waning energy levels. I have always been impatient with life, and still am… From my current perspective, I appreciate the miracles and blessings of life much differently, and with more reverence, than I did in earlier decades. Most of the time I view people, and our shared encounters, looking for the beauties and the good things rather than in negative judgement of an insecure younger me looking to pretend that I am better than… Translation: now, I look more often for a beauty or acknowledge a skill rather than looking to find a weakness or flaw in the people I interact with.

So what does it mean to be in the “late afternoon” of my current incarnation. The days seem to be getting a bit shorter. My energy is drawing inward. I am not cut off from my world but my view is less unbridled than in earlier times. Taking on larger, time and energy, consuming projects seems to be lowered in priority for me. I may not get to learning those new languages or learning to play new musical instruments, which I have put off for many decades. I may even shelve going to medical school which was a very high priority for me when I was 15 years old. Though, I will make time to view more Sunsets and perhaps to taste some good wines.

My life has been filled with Guidance and protection. There are still important challenges and missions for me. There are times when I feel like I am “winding down” and there are times when I rationalize that I am actually using my energies more efficiently. Either way, I proceed through this life with Wonderment and Beginner’s Mind when I choose to be most present. My request to you, as you have read this far, is find Joy and laughter every day of your life. Add the perspective that your life, all life, is a Miracle and you are blessed when you can share your experience with other pilgrims you meet along your way.

If circumstance appears and asks you if YOU want to return for another lifetime in a human form, you may say “No, I do not want to return.” For life is “hard” and full of drama and you may consider that “you” deserve a “rest.” I have considered this option and heard other people’s answers. The Dalai Lama when asked this question responded by saying that he “hopes” he can return and continue to be of service. He is highly evolved and perhaps he is “done” with human incarnations. If you do NOT want to return for more lives and experiences of service, then, almost certainly you WILL have to return for the challenges of additional incarnations… Worry not, for all incarnations are simultaneous and there is no linear time in the higher dimensions (from where we have come.) Just keep breathing and being present. Allow your meditations to offer you guidance…

AND, every day consider your purpose in your current incarnation. Looking deep into this circumstance, I feel certain that you will “know” that you are here to serve! Share your stories and the wisdom you have gained, or are struggling to gain. The people you bump into are both your students and your teachers. We all share life experience to support each other in developing our consciousness. and, we are all in this (life) together…

Dance like no one is watching! Live like this will be your very last day… No regrets, you are perfect and so accept those flaws and imperfections which make you unique…

You are a Miracle! Thank you for being you.

Late Summer Sweetness

It’s getting to be late summer in the Pacific Northwest. As the days are beginning to grow shorter it is also time to find the ripening berries. It is time to pick the ripened raspberries and blackberries. In my life, it is getting to be the late summer and fall of this incarnation for me. It is time to pick The ripened berries of my life. Their sweetness and my wisdom gained from all of my years is now time to share.

I do not look for the future with the optimism of youth. I look much more into the present moment rather than looking into the what is possible and what could be. Though I am aware of lessons learned from my past, I attempt to mitigate the anxiety from most past trauma in ways to see the present without the filters born from past difficult learnings. I find Gratitude for all the lessons… Past Joys and Sorrows can be equally Blessed.

These days with less judgment, I enjoy the sweetness of my life and of the world that surrounds me. It is a time to reflect on lessons learned, even with sour taste or the bitterness of certain life challenges. It is time to find the joy in working through the lessons that I have experienced and the things that I have accomplished. Not every ripe looking berry picked is sweet. The Joy which can be found in sour life experiences can find sweetness as shared wisdom.

There are times when I have to put my head down and walk into the breeze which my day presents. It is refreshing and yet requires extra effort to weather any storm or any headwind that I may encounter. It is also time for me to share value from my lessons in a way that may save some of the time and energy for the witnesses of these conversations. In sharing, I am acting in service from the perspective of my current incarnation. As a possible guide or beacon, my learnings may light the way and offer perspective to those souls I am lucky enough to connect with.

Without the metaphors, this past Wednesday, August 19th, I celebrated what would have been my 36th wedding anniversary. My bride passed into her next life over 8 years ago but the sweetness and the joy of our lives together still vibrates within me. The difficult lessons We learned, I learned, are ever present and awaiting any appropriate chance to share, with gratitude, my memories and learnings. That is what life masters attempt to offer when appropriate. I no longer need to force my grief on others. I can share when the time is correct for a soul whose life buzzes close to what I encountered. The richness of learning from difficulties can be of service and give me a sense of value… (In sharing I also find perspective and value in my “old” story.)

It is not that I do not care about the future. The future of the world. The future of my children and family. It is that I am not as attached to the outcomes. I am not living with the expectations that the world is going to be easier or better. My lessons have taught me that the struggles have been the most valuable thing in my learning. And it is time to acknowledge that everyone must work through their difficulties as these are the lessons that they have come to learn from in this life.

It has come time to acknowledge that if I were to die today, I would have no regrets. I have found a level of acceptance of myself and of the accomplishments that I have made which allow me to find peace. One of the goals in life is to learn about oneself. To develop deep self knowledge. And to find a way of accepting even the flaws I may find as tools for mastering or changing my life and then living in the most positive ways.

Living your life is a miracle. It is a treasure. But to be too attached or anxious about your life seems to me to be an unwise use of time and energy. Self-love and self acceptance seem so important to me as I near the end of my seventh decade. There are adventures and appreciations in life yet to be AND I honor all that has been presented to me along my way…

You are a Miracle! Thank you for being you.

Self-Acceptance

Self-Confidence & Self-Acceptance

Many of us struggle with confidence and self-acceptance. This may be born from our early learnings in this life or possibly as an inherited trait from our family. Our culture tends to control our behaviors as we grow by magnifying our “flaws” which are judged by our supervising adults and competitive, and insecure, peers. We begin to strive to “fit in” even if this is the antithesis of our individual natures. We can lose ourselves. We can begin to advance our feelings of inadequacy or insecurity. We often feel that we do not fit in and so reduce our levels of self-acceptance.

What we may have to learn or remember is that we are perfect even with our imperfections. Re-learning to love ourselves and to accept ourselves even with our flaws is one of the great learnings of our lives. We have to love ourselves and accept ourselves if we wish to make the changes that we may feel would be appropriate. (If we want to improve our “flaws” we must first embrace these and then experiment with alternative behaviors to change these parts of our human incarnation.) To learn our lessons in this life, we are tested or challenged by our weaknesses or imperfections and we then have the free choice to choose to do things (our lives) differently. We test out new or “better” behaviors. Dealing with our insecurities is one of the lessons that we have.

As a general perspective, if we can’t love ourselves it is very difficult for us to love others and to be most fully present in our lives and to live in service. It seems that one of our goals is to live the dramas and have the struggles of our body’s imperfections in our own mortal lives. We learn our lessons through this struggle as we move through these dramas and hopefully find that Joy is the great beauty in our struggles with our imperfections. (Yes, maybe even learn to laugh at ourselves and our foibles.)

As we said in the most recent blog, we’ve created mountains between us and other people. We have also created a mountain between ourselves and the acceptance and self-love of ourselves. Do you realize that you are a miracle and that you as a soul are a unique fingerprint? You are unique like a snowflake. You are a perfect and necessary part of the Divine and the Universe cannot exist without the wisdom and energy of your soul and spirit. It is with your uniqueness, as a miracle, that you must find the acceptance and then the self-love of who you are, where you’re going, and your purpose. You are a blessing.

Other people may judge you as less than who you really are. That is their drama. That is their lesson and you have to respond to that by knowing that you are much more perfect than they might know or imagine. Other people’s judgment and expectations are not under your control. You can not argue with them. This is a test for you to hold true to who you are and know the strength of your self-love and acceptance. Be the role model of self-knowledge and self-acceptance. Show your confidence and strength in your strong posture of self-acceptance!

Your self-confidence and self-acceptance are born out of self-knowledge. Know your strengths and weaknesses and accept both. Do not use personal flaws as an excuse. Find a way to accept and change any identified flaws if you feel this is a necessary goal in this life.

You are a Miracle! Thank you for being you.

The Mountain Between Us

Have you noticed that there are major barriers between members in our human community? In this day and age, the gaps seem wider than ever. Why are we so polarized and separated from each other? Why is it so difficult to know and to Remember that we are ALL in this together and parts of the same Divine Spirit…?

Nancy Dubois shared this information with us… Nancy responded to a post I wrote and sent to her for her editing…
——————————————
“Thank you John for your love and support. Here is some editing that might be helpful.

Our Masters of The Journey member, Nancy DuBois, has reported that she has had a powerful vision download from guidance. It is with fullness of joy and highest intention of goodwill to all, that she wishes to communicate this important message to each Beloved Being out there! We have created mountains between us composed of judgements, perceptions, false beliefs, lies, ego interpretations, social pressures, ancestral conditioning, and the list goes on! But now Beloveds we have the power within to say to this MOUNTAIN,”BE REMOVED” AND IT WILL OBEY YOU!!!! Joyfully we have the power also to remove the same MOUNTAIN within us!! The message is that the Universe, all the Benevolent Beings, Source, and Guidance, are all primed with great expectation and love and are ready to assist Humanity in one of Her greatest moments, BECOMING ONE, within themselves, with each other and with SOURCE!! IMAGINE!!! You had the power to create it You have the power to remove it!

Nancy’s download experience caused spinning of her internal vortex and an after effect of dizziness which she is happy to report is well on the way to perfect recovery. Nancy went through this experience without fear, calm, and peaceful knowing as it was happening that there was a beautiful message to come of it! She is open to whatever or however Spirit guides her!

John, I saw that people need to see themselves as having the power within to manifest the removal of their mountains with the help of Spirit, being careful not to have them follow someone else. Also they needed to know that as easily as the mountain was created it can be removed just as easily. After all those things we put there are just illusions, they aren’t real. We are all searching for the real us, underneath the mountain!

LOVE OUT LOUD NANCY”
——————————————

Guidance wants us to free ourselves of the obstacles and separation that keep us apart. I for one, agree with Nancy and her Guidance and I signed up to assist in helping to reconnect humanity to its “oneness.”

What would you do to get the word out?
First, you want to remove your mountain and find the experience of your soul’s purpose and its oneness with the Divine Spirit.
Then:
Perhaps a posted Video interview or blog posting are possible to get this info out. Sharing by word of mouth of your “feeling”/”Knowing” of your Oneness…
But, how can we trigger a deeper spiritual experience (like an STE – Spiritual Transformative Experience) to create foundational changes which allow for expanded consciousness and a “knowing” of connectedness? This remains to be seen, and then acted upon. (Please look for the video interview with Nancy and her direct reflection of the Guidance serving all of us… Masters of the Journey YouTube channel. At: https://youtu.be/HiLhSPRPCks)

As our consciousness expands we are moving from 3 dimensional consciousness into 5th dimensional consciousness. How will this be different? 3rd dimensional thinking limits us to what our mind/ego can understand with the limitations of linear time and 3 dimensions in space. The newer consciousness is based upon what we “feel” in a heart based “Knowing.” There are no words or thoughts which can adequately describe the freedom of “5 D” “being” as found in the “higher realms” of Divine Consciousness. It offers a new way of being. Our new goal is to assist/help other people to transition into higher dimensional consciousness. This is aligning with major changes coming in the last months of 2020 as reported my Nancy and other psychic prognosticators, and then into the future. We are going through major planetary changes to prepare us, or to force us, into new ways of thinking, behaving, and feeling/knowing.

As an example, some people believe that the social isolation due to the pandemic creates an environment for people to quiet the distractions our society has provided so we can meditate and go “within” to reconnect with guidance and higher consciousness. If nothing else, this alone is a very useful outcome from these horrendous times. We might find ourselves walking, respectfully, in the moment, in nature and reconnect with the natural world as a walking meditation and consciousness builder. A chance to consider our connection with the Earth, the present moment, and all living things in our Universe. We are small but amazingly important pieces of the broad Universe. So, consider the Joy you might find when you “unplug from media” and quietly go within your soul for unconditional love and the oneness which you can be led to. This is what 5th dimensional consciousness can allow us to more fully know, or Remember. YOU are a Blessing!

Also, for consideration: Am I my brother’s keeper? Yup, we are all connected and so we are all developing into higher consciousness (at a conscious level) together. Not in separation as an individual in competition to get ahead. We all advance together as humans in the drama we call life on Earth. We are all multidimensional beings and there is no advantage to self-limiting by existing in 3 dimensional beliefs and behavior. (YES! Even the people who “trigger” you, are still part of your challenge and lesson as we all slowly increase toward the higher consciousness that is possible. Maybe those who trigger you are your guides to learn the tough lesson of equanimity, acceptance, unconditional love, gratitude, Joy, and the “Oneness” we are striving to achieve…???)

You are a Miracle! Thank you for being you.

Purpose & Attraction of Masters of the Journey
(And, there is a story sharing on video for you at the bottom of this post…)

I surveyed some members and gave some thought to better understand why our members come and then return to our community meetings. There are personal reasons and there are more general reasons. The following are a few of these thoughts. Please add your thoughts to our comments or email them directly to me. (Thanks in advance…)

Sharing Your Wisdom (Stories)… If you like to be heard… Or, Witness and enjoy Your learning from other Wisdom Seekers. And, by sharing your story/experience you get to learn or relearn your lesson from the new perspective of the conversation in the “present” moment. (A fresh review of a treasured learning.)

You are a Master.. You have something to share… You are providing service when you share your insights of your spiritual awakening (this offers perspective on what is possible)…

Also, these topics have come to mind:

* Opening Doors to Let the Light of Consciousness Shine In…

* To help you to remember where you have come from, beyond this incarnation, and to where you will return (though you NEVER really left…)

* To get you consciously thinking about who you really are and what your life purpose is in this lifetime.

* To learn to look into the eyes, then the souls, of every human being you bump into and then to “know” their perfection (and your spiritual connection with everyone of these people. Yes, even if they “trigger” you! Especially, if they “trigger” you!)

* To come to realize we are all in this together and we are here to learn, to grow, and to assist fellow pilgrims to follow their path of spiritual re-awakening… As our Nancy might say, “to remove the mountains as barriers to fully knowing each other.”

AND, of course there is:
“Hot Chicks”… Anythings Goes Atmosphere… Lack of Social Distancing (on video conferencing)
Good Birthday Cakes… Just checking to see if you were really reading this blog this far… Are YOU laughing???

Example of a story to expand consciousness.
Discussion on video of an experience with a psychic in Tucson, AZ regarding my wife 14 months after she transitioned. Psychic conversation begins about 4:45 minutes into this 10 minute video. There is no death only transition into a higher form in the Divine Spirit. A story from January, 2016 on the fourth anniversary of my wife’s transition sharing a message from my wife… Find at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ge3BGGiIwJA

Looking Through the Eyes of Wonderment

An update and revisit after spending time with my 22 month old grandson…

The Blessing a young child brings is to see what I know to be “common” as an amazing and unique moment in time. Like the first time I noticed a miracle in nature. Getting out of past and future expectations into the excitement of being present. Wide eyed and a celebration with each “new” thing… What Joy can I find in the incredible moment? It has never existed nor will ever exist again. Appreciation and Gratitude…

Last November, Mr Milo would ask “Whad Dat?” He would point to anything, and everything, and ask, “Whad Dat?” But now 8 months later he learns like a sponge, drawing all information into his budding human consciousness. He tries to mimic a word or short phrase. He has learned what some animals sound like. When we saw a Barred Owl on a hike a few days ago, he lit up and said “whooo.” The owl gave him a once over and knew that they were both of Divine birth and had some souls linked together… Well, maybe I read way too much into this interaction but it really struck me with the new adventure for Mr Milo which was playing out. He even learn immediately how to “hug a tree.” (With some credit and “blame” going to his grandfather.) Progress is coming quickly.

Background: in a shared meditation when he was one month old and napping in my arms, I saw him as older wise man standing above me and to my left. In my meditation, I was a bit surprised and said to him, “You are an Old Soul!” He replied, “We are all old souls…” This shocked me. Why was I having to learn something from a baby who is one month old…? Oh well. I am in a state of wonderment as I appreciate and learn from every soul I meet, if, I am most present and available.

Mr Milo is learning how to navigate in his current younger body with his encouraging parents. AND, when I look into his eyes, I can sometimes see that his connection to Divine Wisdom is not shut off. My service to this soul may be to help remind him of who he really is and from where he has come. Perhaps he will maintain his connection to the Divine and not have to accidentally find the connection to the Divine or to work so hard at “Remembering” this connection. I tell Mr Milo, “You are a Miracle!” and he has an interesting, perhaps a “knowing” smile as he then repeats, “Miracle,” “Miracle.” Very cute but…???

He serves all the people who can focus upon him as he moves through his current life in wonderment and demonstrates “Beginners Mind.” He is present. New things are an adventure and, only occasionally, “scary.” He is loved and protected by parents and guides as he moves along his path in this life adventure. So, I had few expectations regarding my necessity to become a grandfather but this may turn out very well for my learning at this stage in my current incarnation. Oh well, I thought I was done but I guess there is still more for me to participate within. What a Blessing!

Living in the consciousness of the Beginners Mind. Where everything is new and being fully present is cause for celebration of all the wonders of our human life on Earth. Can we all spend more moments in wonderment and remember our beginner’s mind? And, can we find those moments of gratitude for the beauty and perfections which manifest in every moment?

You are a Blessing! Thank you for being you.

When Someone Dies Do You Bless Them

When someone close to you transitions out of their current Earth born lives do you bless them? Can you find Joy in their release from their Earthly Lives? This can be a very different way to celebrate in the “passing” of someone who you have cared about. So let me ask you again, can you find happiness for the soul who has headed into the Divine? We, who are “left” behind, have our grief and our loss to deal with. We have our mortality and our fears to consider. We have to find a way to the fill the void of our significant relationship’s absence. The unknown of life beyond our human existence can be a scary consideration unless you have had a NDE (Near Death Experience) or some form of an “Awakening” which allows you to know the undefinable freedom and unconditional love available in the Divine.

There have been moments since my wife transitioned (died, past away… from Ovarian Cancer) when I have even felt some envy because she is free and “in a better place” and I am still “stuck” in my earthly life. Stuck is not the correct word but I have had feelings of the possible relief one may feel when the limitations of the body and three dimensional living are “left behind.” When I was 19 years old, young, naive, and innocent, I was guided to have an experience of life beyond our normal human lives. Let’s call it Death. It was beautiful. I felt Unconditional Love, Acceptance, Freedom (no limitations of “time” and 3 dimensional space,) Access to Universal Wisdom, and Connection/Oneness. For me, at the time, I did not want to return to my body. I wanted to stay and to be enveloped in the Divine Spirit’s love and consciousness BUT (I was told) “it was NOT your Time” to know death for “there is still much for you to do.” So I grudgingly returned to my body and my life. That experience from long ago has not diminished in my awareness for the beauty and freedom so briefly “known.” Or, was it a knowledge or wisdom simply “remembered?…”

A part of me celebrates for the person’s soul/spirit when they “transition.” I know the pain and the vacuum created by the “loss” of a loved one or dear friend. But, these human sadnesses are born out of my selfish need for that lost source of love, friendship, or support. I must fill that void and move on with my loving memories of the departed relationship. (Easier said than done…) Normally, I do not chase envy or my own selfishness, so my seemingly inappropriate celebration for the transitioned spirit may seem less than the “normal” response. I do not want to take away from someone else emotional pain or to diminish their human need to feel their own sadness. We all must learn from our losses and the challenges these present mentally and emotionally. My hope is that we can move beyond our fear of death so we may live more consciously in the joy of life.

Sadness and grief are important learning experiences which humans are born to have. We can become more empathetic. Our consciousness grows from our humanness. We learn more about human Love when a source of human love is taken from us. And, the death of a “loved one” is one of the most important experiences we can have. Our sadness and grief are ours to create and to learn from. Appreciate all life and recognize the fragile miracle of life on our planet.

Everyone of us is unique and necessary. The birth of a new soul into our human life is a joy. The struggles in our lives is where we learn and test our divine learnings. Our final transitions from our human lives are a piece of the cycle of life and can be celebrated for the amazing experience which leads to higher consciousness and to our connection, without human limitations, to the Divine.

Different cultures are also unique and have different/unique traditions to honoring the final transition we all face. In my opinion, when we transition we all find our way to the Divine Spirit. And, if you have anxiety about this unknown which prevents you from most fully living, consider doing your research. Speak to a NDE survivor. Read or watch YouTube presentations from a variety of NDE survivors. If you find some resonance with these shared experiences it may lead you to remembering what this experience of transitioning from a human life is or what it can be…

(Note: I was questioned about the “why” and the “fairness” when a younger person or a child dies. I am not certain of all the specific reasons or value for this specific difficult situation, however, some wise, older souls may choose to “reincarnate” for a shorter lifetimes for the intense lessons of the people whom they come into contact with in their Earth born lives. They provide a “service” to those people who are left behind to deal with this challenging loss… Consider this and perhaps this may open doors for your consideration. I hope this does not create new painful emotional responses for you in your loss…)

Finally, when you are not too emotionally triggered by a loss of a loved one, consider the perspective that they are free and in the protection of the Divine Spirit. Perhaps, you can even celebrate and not be consumed by the fear or anxiety of the mortality we all face.

You are a Blessing! Thank you for being you.
